Buying quarters I came across a 63' Canadian...thanks for the video...

1968-1986 Canada made voyageur Nickel dollars zero silver different diameter then the silver content commemorative ones & then in 1987 the loonie was first produced. 1935-1967 are made of .800 ASW .6oz $5 = 3oz $10 = 6oz Totem pole is known as the "Death Dollar" The main key date is the 1948 (can be worth as much or more than an oz of gold). Lowest mintage in this set at 18780 & the only 36mm Silver Dollar that I dont have up to present day ;) 1971-1991 Canada did make Commemorative silver dollars in both Proof and BUC, at .500 content, ASW .37 1992-2002 they are made of .925 ASW .748 or so. 2003-2006 made of .9999 ASW .8 2007-2011 made of .925 ASW .748 2012 - Present made of .9999 ASW .748 Hope this helps. My collection is over 160+ different designs/years...Sorry had to toot my own horn :) Happy Stackin eh!

Canadian silver is definitely a great way to acquire weight👍 great designs, and fairly inexpensive Gpo has forgotten more about Canadian silver dollars than I’ll ever know.

I do like the 80% Canadian silver. Years ago, I went out of my way to pick up the Totem. The Voyager is a classic, so hoping to find one to collect someday. You just don't see the Canadian 80% around here that often. Love your collection- very nice CCT!

Iam canadian and I don't have a bit of 80 percent. Maybe a little Puerto silver but mostly gold and started with my 1st platinum coin .not sure how much I will get of platinum. Nice coin you have there my friend

For what it's worth. The 1963 has a mintage of 4,179,981 1964 - 7,296,832 1965 - 10,768,569 1966 - 9,912,663 This is why still so may beautiful coins are still available.

The 1965 and 66 have large and small beads variations as well as pointed and blunt 5s in the date. Rim variations on the 1953. 54 thru 57 water lines variations. 50 thru 52 more water line variations. And variations on the 7 1n the 1947. And a few years had low mintage proofs in regular and mat finish. Die cracks, strike thru etcetera not included. 😊

The fact that John Candy isn't on a Canadian coin is a dang shame.

I absolutely love 80% Canadian! My favorite is the 49 dollar 😁 The big key date is the 48 dollar. Also, $10 face equals 6oz of silver. Makes things easy.

The Totem pole dollar is my favorite and one that I don't own yet. I need to be on the lookout for one at my LCS. Some nice designs in these dollars. I like the 49 ship design too. Thanks fir sharing these my friend!

Very cool, any idea why the US used 90% and Britain used 80%? Then 50% for Britain and 40% for US, interesting indeed. I was wondering if you would let them slide, to cool.👍👍🤟🙏🙏🙏

The biggest problem with Canadia silver is the emperor. Who’s likeness is on the Obvious.

Just got back from vaca and watched your vid! That set of Kooks from 2000 is in wonderful condition. Funny how the slightest exposure to air can cause toning. Interesting observation in regard to the two capsules on the 2017 Koala! Thank you for sharing that CCT😊😊👍👍
