Beautiful Setup...WORKS FINE! 💯👌
It really seems to do the trick. I would like to add a vertical antenna like. Wolf river coil to the arsenal for quick activations as well.
Take it to the limit
Deez nuts
The smedium sized ones?
Take your tuner out of line?
Weird sounds like a supply voltage issue... Check your power cord connections... I dont understand why only on 20 meters though...

D276 rods. I lay a layer of 7018 as a transition. Then proceed keeping temp under 400 between passes. I like the air cool idea. I peen and water between passes. Is there an FRA guideline for welding frogs.
Still outstanding
You say HF904s, but not the 903. So you mounted two rear tires?
Does your bike need the battery to run? Badass vid
No it doesn't need a battery to run. The headlight is fairly dim without one and the turn signals don't really work without one. The battery isn't required.
@@Bigskyxj that I have the same year bike. I've got spark, compression, and cleaned the carb, fires but won't run for more than 10 seconds, i haven't put a battery in yet.
@@samkaiset2802 the batteries are relatively cheap. It did seem to run a bit better with a battery. It could be that your stator is a little weak and a battery could help with that. My guess is that you have a fuel delivery issue if it is dying that fast. My tank was pretty dirty and the fuel petcock was super crusty. I took the petcock apart and cleaned it really well. I also put about 2 feet of chain in the tank with some hot water and simple green and shook it up for a while to knock all the loose rust out.
I dont have the gas tank, using a spare gas can. But I got a battery just need to charge it and test, thx for the advice bro
Bora,Bora, northern lights,🎉no it was my SP 250R just as pretty and 🎉 nice‼️
Is that flux core manganese wire? We use rods where I work and I'm looking for a faster process? Any help would be much appreciated?
We use 5/64 Flux core mig. There are 2 different brands that I know of. Lincoln make a mang frog wire and the one that I prefer is frogbuild 700W. Its like twice as fast as using stick frog build. We run 30lb spools in a miller extreme 12VS suitcase.
Bigskyx is it a cooler process then stick? I'm in australia, we cool with water and peen after laying each weld making it a rather slow and laborious task. I was thinking that mig would be much faster and would be a cooler process? Running 3.2 rods at 140amps at the moment.
@@noelwright1165 it's slightly cool, we quench with compressed air after every bead. We try to monitor the temp by measuring approximately 1.5" from last bead and try to keep temps below 500 degrees Fahrenheit. The wire I use is frog build 575W I mistakenly told you it was 700w.
Cheers for all the great info mate you've been a big help, just gotta talk the other 2 crusty old boilermakers into giving up their beloved stick welder and join the 21st century now. Thanks again mate.
We cut the bad metal out with carbon electrodes where I work. Still using stick electrodes. If we are in a hurry we can build them up faster with larger electrodes, we have them as large as 5/16”.
Really good setup man
