Spoken word. With jazz music. Of jazz music. For jazz music. This is what jazz music was all about. The words hit, rhythmically. The music states its meaning. And purpose. In doing so, we feel all that history. Down to our bones. Sing! Shout! Traine play that sax like it can never be played again!
