Great Tribute to Toy Caldwell and the Marshall Tucker Band. He is no Toy Caldwell, but who is these days. I was lucky to have seen the MTB many times as a opener, middle act and as a Headliner. One of the many great things about living in the South.😎

Amazing! To play a tune like this do you Have to master all the scales, learn music theory And be able to read music?
Def not for a song like this, but many other songs that I do, definately require everything you have just mentioned. Much of the jazz that I do requires music translation, theory and writing the stuff out on paper.
As does some of the progressive and neo classical stuff. And thanks for asking! If recording a studio song everyday was easy, engineering and playing all the instruments and such, I assure you, you would find many more folks out there doing it. I'm a bit of an anomaly. I'm the hardest working man who pretends he's in show business!!! lol I usually complete a song in 3 to 8 hours. 8 hours if it's a Yes or Emerson Lake and Palmer type of thing, or something!
Crap... Sorry...
Your rap is def crap, commie. And eyes aint sorry, beoootch!
And if people wonder why they don’t hear Guitar and Pen live from The Who it’s because it sounds clunky if done live. You did a good job with a difficult song btw. Not easy.
Thanks alot! So many great Who songs that they never performed live.
shit crazy fooll ted n
Uncle Ted is still rockin, and is a great American 🇺🇸 patriot.
Indeed he is!
Nuge's best song IMHA
Best Nuge era 👍
Absolutely. Double Live Gonzo!
Well done! Very difficult song and artist to emulate or try to improve upon. Trower is INCOMPARABLE! Look what would have been lost had he not left Procol Harem? The 2.5k views just shows how much sh*t people listen to TODAY. Pure commercialized, canned garbage.
I agree brother, wholeheartedly! Thanks for the kind words.
🔥
Dude, I just found this! I mean, I guess you can tell I'm a Robin Trower fan, right? Anyway, I'm digging your sound and your playing. I promise to check out your other vids, too... After I get my Trower fix on... TbOP (Trower by Other People) Hey, I was wondering if Little Girl, by Robin, was in your wheelhouse? ... 🤔 Hey, just puttin it out there, lol
Right on! Thanks!
4:14 love those lead guitar riffs
Thanks!
Bad Arse ❤ Sounds awesome.
Thanks!
I still can't grasp why people make such a big whoop about that messy dissonant free for all Mr Hendrix perpetrated, I've heard it called a masterpiece, of what? Slop guitar? Don't get me wrong, I understand Jimi holds a certain lofty position for innovation in rock guitar and I grew up slobbering over such true masterpieces like castles made of sand, little wing, and numerous others, but in all honesty his rendition of the star spangled banner was obviously something he just threw together on the spot. Far from genius.
No genius, no chops, i'll go crawl in me ole hole now. :( Seriously, I'd think "interstellar space" , if use be strugglin', The duet with Coltrane and Rashad Ali. Life is filled with dissonace, sadly.
Dissonance allows the listener to appreciate "melody", when it arrives. I just wrote that! Thanks for the inspiration, Adrian.
Magnifique 😉les images sont exceptionnelles 👏👏👏❤️👍🙏
Thanks!
Awesome Jimi Hendrix all the way back Woodstock in Monterey Pop Festival salute you, brother in heaven. See you soon Richard.
Thanks!

Right! Too bad it's not worth any money, really.
Fantastic playing. This level of intuition is the rarest. Thanks for picking up a guitar

Mucho gracias, Senor! Muy bien!
Back when Oakland was still a decent place, look at all those beautiful white faces. 😂lol
:D
WTF 😳
I do have a soft spot for my left-handed compadres.
Day on the green Oakland Colosseum 78. I can see it in my minds eye What an effing day?
Nice!
one of my favorites
Me too.
Sounds like he's losing it. Never heard a better 335 than the original album. All the improvised 335 solos kind of suck ass, nonetheless his recorded solos are indeed awesome
Your entitled to your opinion. You couldn't be farther from the truth though.

I dedicate this to Dickey Betts R.I.P. December 12, 1943-April 18, 2024 I had the good fortune of seeing the Allman Brothers Band twice. The first time was at the New Orleans Jazz & Blues Heritage Festival in 1996. Dickey was the only guy in the band that actually came out into the audience after the show. He was by the side of the stage, and he was signing autograqphs and shaking people's hands. For some reason, I decided not to go up to him and meet him, so I just watched from about 40 feet away, or so. Nearly a decade later I jammed with his son, Duane Betts, at a fourth of july party in Malibu, back in 2004. It was a small get together of maybe 15 or 20 people and I didn't know who he was until he told me his name after we jammed about 4 or 5 tunes together, in front of everyone there. I remember that we sat indian style on the carpet and i think we played 'Tangerine' by Led Zeppelin and maybe a Allman Brothers Band jam or two. It was in the Malibu trailer park community called Paradise Cove, which is on the beach. The second time I saw them was in 2000 at the Long Beach Jazz & Blues Festival, in Long Beach California I was backstage for their whole set and then I hung out with Jaimoe Johnson, the drummer, for a little bit, backstage. I remember patting George Thorogood on the back before he went on stage, earlier in the day, as I was right off to the side of the stage, backstage. You don't forget memories like that!
He looked pissed off
Baby's momma was gettin' in his face. That's why.
he was wrong several times... but i still love him
Sorry but I would greatly disagree. This man is never wrong, musically speaking.
@@jasondotson i'm talking about his mistakes during his play
Great cover. Bravo.
Thanks!
