I totally agree with you. I'm American currently living in Turkey. But the only thing I love about America is the health care and service and care is good. The downside is it's the most expensive in the world but the quality of care is better. The cleanliness of hospitals is better in America. The hospitals here are longer waits, not as clean, over crowded, and the doctors don't explain things with patience. They didn't even take my blood pressure and temperature before being seen like they do in America. I've learn to heal myself naturally. And I'm around more organic food, beautiful landscape and less stress. If you can still make American money living abroad will seem so much cheaper tho, especially if you are retired in America regardless of how much you get, your money will stretch farther. But with local income here in Turkey that my husband make, rent is still no where as high as in America.
