What’s up my dope ass plant people! My name is Lys (rhymes with miss, kiss, who dis) and I want to share my appreciation for plants with y'all. Hey folks! Check out my attempt to sow and harvest some cactus seeds from one of my melocactus. I was curious if sterilizing the soil by microwaving it or by using hydrogen peroxide would make any difference. So, I tried both methods here, and we shall see what the results are in a few months. I love watching your vlog. So interesting.
I just got a white euphoria in. And the roots seem to be at the very bottom and soil seems to be piled around the trunk of it. 2 or 3 inches. Is this how they grow? Or do I need to repote it and put the roots at the top of the pot? And it also seems like it would be very wobbly. And I would need to support it.

OMG, if anybody really thinks she wasn't sitting there with a list of all those names doing voice over, you're insane. I admire her knowledge and being able to pronunciate all those names, but please. Beautiful video. Beautiful cacti. Some common names would be even better, for those of us who don't stand a chance at the scientific names.
Some people really just are that knowledgeable
There are plenty of people who can walk through like this, but in this case, yeah, certainly you can hear the room noise. So I'd rather not have the surprise when you already know what you shot

It is obvious that your Ariocarpus is poached (i.e. illegally removed from the natural habitat). Furthermore, the pot you used for it is too large.
