Hey guys! Foodie from the Bay Area here! The reason why I created this channel is so that I can share with everyone that there are different types of food out there to try beside your traditional fast food restaurants. I'll be doing food reviews and ratings of restaurants, how to cook videos, and also fun food challenges along the way. Come join me as we figure out, What To Eat!

Today, we are at Tacos El Gordo in Las Vegas, NV! They serve made-to order Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Tostadas, Mulas, Suaderos, Sopes, and Fries.. Tijuana Style! There are franchises in Nevada, Southern California, and Mexico. They have quite a few locations in Las Vegas, NV but we are in the 1724 E Charleston Blvd location! This is the newest one that opened and it is quite spacious! Plenty of seats and short lines ( A Plus!) The last time I had this must have been before the Covid-19 pandemic! Out of all sushi restaurants in Hayward you would think this would be the last one to close. I’m not sure if the owner retired or they lost their lease since he’s pretty cryptic on his FB page.
I’m sad they closed down. This was my to go spot for sushi and not overpriced like other restaurants

I'm a Mercury News retiree, and we had a newsrack in front of the Peppermill in Sunnyvale. The place was jumping when I'd service the rack at 2:30 AM. Western Village, in Sparks NV is a Peppermill property, and I've eaten there more than a few times. Never a bad meal. They did remodel the cafe, away from the color scheme shown here. The Moco Loco looked delicious! As always...
No wonder the logo are both the same for Sparks and Las Vegas. Their portions and quality are top notch!

I grew up in San Leandro, and its been decades since I've been in the Chabot area. I see I'm missing out. Another excellent vlog. And, the background music triggering copyright just shouldn't be. I get it if a creator is actively using copyrighted IP, but when its played in public, I think that should be exempted. Fremont St (Las Vegas) has the same issue for content creators.

Do you know if this is the same tour company that the other cruise lines use? It appears that all the cruise lines call it the same thing. Were going on Royal and it says its 5.5hrs, leaves at 9:30am. Was that about the same as yours? Is there time to walk around the little village of Puerto Nuevo? Thanks in advance!
Hi deadphish1313! Sorry for the late reply. Yes it was the same company we bought through the cruise line. Yes it was around 9 AM. We went through a tour near the shopping area and then he dropped us off in Rosarito and walked a few minutes to the restaurant. Just a tip I wish we knew, some of the things in Rosarito (Candies, Chocolates, Clothes, etc) were cheaper compared to the first shopping area he first dropped us too! Rosarito is definitely cheaper! Enjoy your trip!

@@WhatToEatTV Cheese Ravioli with meat sauce normally. Once in a while I will get the ribeye diner which is probably the best thing on the menu.

I grew up around the corner, I've eaten here for almost 50 years. 10/10 on the pizza, and order the chicken as well.

@WhatToEatTV As a matter of fact, Jasmine Express (Washington at Floresta) serves good steamtable Chinese takeout (I especially love the Chow Fun), and the 5th Wheel (San Leandro Bl, just north of Davis St) is a 65+ year tradition that does an excellent breakfast.

“Ramen 101” in Concord, CA is a strange place. Twenty dollars for a bowl of soup. The same thing in Tokyo is eight dollars. All the restaurants in Concord are outrageously expensive. And that’s no accident. When a greater portion of America’s food supply is exported, all food will be outrageously expensive. So the only option will be a legally-binding Medicare food contract that requires hungry Americans to comply with Intellectual Property Law. No looking or speaking without permission. Your EBT card will be your only source of food. So if you’re smart, you won’t argue.

@@WhatToEatTV I wasn’t “sharing”. I can’t give you a part of my opinion. I was complaining. America sucks. Everything is such a rip-off. Even Safeway is a scam. Prices in South America are 70% to 80% lower than the U.S. The solution isn’t to search for another place to eat. It’s to get American prices in line with global prices. Dinner in Mexico is two dollars.
@@WhatToEatTV The Chinese Grocery store called “99 Cent Ranch Market” has a good Dim Sum lunch deal. The tables are outside. About five dollars.
Thanks for a really great video! Helped me make an informed decision on whether to go... Just went and it was pretty tasty. I agree with you on the sides being good, especially the chips and housemade tortillas! :D But, looks like they went down to 2 lobster halves now instead of 3...also, i noticed that while one tasted fresh and had a nice snap bite to it, my other was one was kinda mushy unfortunately. Hello Han! Thanks for describing your experience! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately we did not make much videos in the Rosarito stop. It was a bummer we bought more stuff in the first shopping area he brought us to because Rosarito was definitely cheaper compared to the more touristy area!
That's some good eating. How was the rest of the cruise? I've always wanted to go on a cruise
The cruise itself was amazing! Definitely a lot of food to try! There is a schedule of activities to do so that you are always busy doing something. They also have a big swimming area with waterslides, Basketball court, movies on the big screen at night, shopping, food, arcades, and did I mention food? If you have little ones, they also have babysitting services to leave the kids to do activities. My wife and I were able to go to the Stand-up Comedy Show to wrap up the night! Not at all what it used to be 1). Cafeteria atmosphere 2). Kids run amuck 3). Adults without manners: grazing in line, licking fingers then grabbing tongs 4). Overpriced, especially for what it is 5). Food choices don’t have proper side dishes (pasta but no sauce). 6). Hot food not hot Cold food not cold 7). Salad bar is fairly decent

My guy gonna have heart disease and or diabetes sooner than later eating like this. “Guilt free salad” covered in sweet dressing, canned syrup oranges, fried chicken, fried wantons. Then a plate of fake Alfredo pasta, fries, tenders, ranch & lord knows what else. Thinking the whole time he’s eating good & wholesome. Thinking the only thing wrong is too much fat!?! WTF?!?

Gaingreen818, yes there definitely was Curry at different vendors! You need to go!
For my money, the best glazed donut in the bay area. Just know that it's cash only (they have ATM machine in the shop and there's also a Chase Bank nearby), and they usually stop making fresh donuts by the early afternoon. They close around 3pm. They have two coffee offerings which are fairly good (no espresso machine).
