I hate to be that guy, but Oracle is not that heavy try Iowa
Favorite albums from them. Favorite stuff out in a long time
Not even fuckin close brah brah
No bro... Not even close. Go smoke too much pot and go nonverbal.
5/5 One of my favorite albums. Over 30,000 minutes clocked on it.
IDCWIGWID 🖤
Still love this album, still have the vinyl. Jessie still brings a tear to my eye, bless our doggos
Sang is better to MY ears! 🐺🤘
😂 trash ass band
Favourite album of all time for me. You guys should give Saviors a go, their latest release. A very eclectic mix of sounds, almost like a trip down GD memory lane
lol no... saw these guys open for fetus , sasq is great but no
The vibe of this album is still relevant today
Boog they changed their style every time they played hard core shows death metal shows
😂😂
Is more death metal u don’t about that huh Better then that trash ass band
They even not desth metal they style are ass
Why are we comparing them? That aren’t even alike. weird ass post
Why compare? Both are great! Both are different! Some days are bogg days. Some days are fetus days. Some days are Katy Perry PlugnB remix days. Who cares?
Never get enough! This is a great album.
Nope. Dying Fetus have been around for like 30 years and have cemented themselves as brutal death metal pioneers alongside Suffocation, Cryptopsy, etc.
Yup
Have you guys even listened to chamber music? Its a dope record Tragedy, no home, notion, the whole album is sick If you'd listened to it then there's no way you'd be trashing it
Absolutely, I can't stand the lead singer of Dying Fetus voice and the face he makes while "singing" I can't listen to them soley because of him.
cant even compare them cus fetus is beyond whatever they try to be 😭
Late comment, but I believe the "church"-feel you are talking about would be because Sabaton was going for an accurate portrayal of what the Swedish kings were about back in those days: Religion, Expansionism and War. King "Carolus Rex" (Karl XII) was strictly religious and demanded the same of his soldiers. Therefore, the church-feel is appropriate for the subject.
Very cool! Thanks for explaining that.
This sounds like fimbulwinter album. Both are good albums.
It makes me feel nostalgic (first song I ever learned on drums was “No Hope = No Fear”), and it always makes me feel like it’s summer, even if I heard it in the winter time lol…. That said, it’s pretty average.. Some good songs, but definitely some bad ones too
its insane to hate on that album, brackish drums go hard idgaf
Who let bro cook
My ass lol they talking about mortician is slamming brutal death metal
I was surprised by this one, pretty good.
Love this band's entire discography. Anomalies is pretty high up ther for me but I think Lucid was the apex of their more full on Grind vibe and Xenosapian was them perfecting what they did w Anomalies. Mislead is just a continuation of Xeno imo which is fine w me. I'm constantly harassing band members ab a new album any time I have the chance to speak w one.
the answer is no they are not better than fetus
"Hissz wojsc on Beneath the Remains issz a lot leik Deems Taylorsz', a taph caes containd tuub aw waepr."
"Schizophrenia issz their 3rd not 2nd."
"My mom is a huge steely dan fan..." Did you know the name came from a popular chrome dildo in the 70's called the steely dan? ;) You go mom!
Y'all are weird Blast Tyrant is the best album with Beale Street next best. And Pitchfork is the heaviest. Psychic Warfare is some fine rock n roll, they don't make bad music.
Sanguisugabogg rules, but come on. Did this dude just say that to rile us up?
They play hard core my guy
Master of Reality bruh
Yeah, I hate this album, it’s so drab and boring and vanilla and lame. Ergh lmao 😂
Great album!!!
ghetto
Very different to the sound they have now.
Finally, We're back!! Sorry it took so long but I was grounded and couldn't have friends over....
Love you, dude.
This was a fun album. N!CE is probably my favorite track.
I had a friend in high school who played me something from Spit, which at the time was their only album. I was listening to death metal at that point and the song didn't exactly hold my attention. The following year after we graduated I read in a magazine that Kittie released Oracle, but instinctively I didn't care to check it out and basically assumed that it was nu metal. Fast forward 20 some years I randomly heard a song from it and was blown away. Have I heard heavier by that point? Of course, but something about the band spoke to me and I ended up listening to the rest of their catalog and really enjoying it. Already saw them live twice since then and have pre-ordered the new album. I feel super lucky that just as I discovered them for myself they were coming out of a 13 year hiatus and touring again. My only regret is ignoring them in the beginning. They played Ozzfest 2000 literally 10 minutes from my house and I am forever kicking myself for not being there when the evolution into that heavy Oracle sound started to manifest.
Even if it sounds off or bad i still dig it...hits Hella hard imo
Lmao what a stupid take. If you dickheads want to make your name on a metal podcast stop saying stuff like this lol
That record hasn't aged well at all
In Utero is so much better… Nevermind is much more commercial, yes… …Nevermind sounds like it was made for a wider range of audience, a great first album - no doubt… …but the lyrics and instrumentals on In Utero are so much more mature…even elegant, perhaps. Maybe it is a generational thing. I’m a later model Xer… I absolutely would not listen to them during the mid ‘90s. I would have rather died than listen to “Radio Rock/Rap” or pop. So funny. My favorite is Unplugged… …the Bowie cover…the Leadbelly cover…sublime!
These dudes turned liking shitty metal into their whole lives, who gives a fuck about your opinions, fuck off kittie rules
I love Macabre. Dennis the Menaces' drumming is top tier. Sinister Slaughter is my favorite album. Zodiac!!! 🤘
