    Thanks for video which helped a little. engine sounds annoying . found better video by rocky mtn which shows that you separate the screen from the bolt to clean the inside of the screen. i had trouble getting screen off bolt to do this.. Clymer manual says clean with medium toothbrush and then gently blow dry.

    Do this every time U change the oil, I learned the hard way if that screen Gets clogged it will show that the oil Level is good but it just holds the oil In the frame, so make sure you check that screen once in while Because lack of oil BLOWS engines. Thanks from NOR-CAL.

      Definetely very hard to get off, going to use a breaker bar with 17mm long socket, I was starting to think it had reverse threads. Glad this video shows removal to confirm it removes normally.

    What about the second oil screen? Did you inspect and clean that as well?
