Babe's Hotdogs Cruise night Joliet.
The Windy City Grill Cruise Crew took a ride out to another Babe's Hotdogs Wednesday night cruise night in Joliet. It was a fine late summer evening, and there were plenty of cars there to enjoy what surely is one of the last nice fall evenings of 2021. There were all manner of Chevelles, Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers, Chargers, rods, lowered rides and several boosted rides, feast your eyes on a LS powered turbocharged S-10, and a turbocharged LS powered Regal. Babe's never disappoints, and Jefferson street was alive and buzzing with action. ~Filmed in Potatovision~

This is so beautiful. Thank You for this special tribute to a Chariot for these angels 😇😇😇😇😇😇
Rest in peace my brothers and you are definitely in the arms of the angel's. 😇😇😇😇😇😇. If there's any comfort it's knowing that all of you gentleman entered heaven doing what you absolutely loved. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😔💔
What a waste pure carelessness or on purpose possibly. But did anyone think it odd that the plane hit the B-17 spot on the X on the side of her 🤔
I don't know why I don't see skippy's reply to me here, so here it is: @slapdick455 3 hours ago @thehellion it was there for the amusement of the crowd.in the last ten years 3 b17s have been lost..when will you people learn? @slapdick455 Aviators doing what they love in front of an audience full of aviation enthusiasts. A bit more than just 'amusement' there skippy. Seems completely lost on you that the idiot air boss totally caused this tragedy. Nine-0-Nine was sadly pilot error after a mechanical problem that was recoverable. "When will you people learn?" Learn what exactly? That airshows and flight itself will always have elements of danger and tragedy? Safe for me to assume you are one of those people who think airshows should be canceled permanently. One last thing skippy, this video tribute celebrates the lives of the aviators, show some respect for them.
Great tribute Mike. Rest in Peace to the 6 aviators and condolences to their loved ones.
nice
Thanks...i originally wanted to use ''Always'' by killswitch engage, a very solemn and emotional song, but youtube wouldnt let me, so i went with Sarah Mclachlan.....either way, this loss, and so many others like it, to the warbird community turns my stomach much like sept 11th did, i had to throw this together to work thru the pain. Thanks for watching.
Thanks you
RIP to the souls lost aboard her and to her soul as well.
Nice video, I was there and watched the tragic event. Sending prayers to all the victims.
Such a sad ending to such a beautiful airplane. The song that accompanies the video was a perfect choice. May they all Rest In Peace.
Thanks you All
@@sspsgaming3662 I was lucky enough to get a ride on the "Liberty Bell" before its crash landing Jun 13, 2011. Definitely a highlight of my life. Such a shameful ending to such a beautiful airplane. Going up in that plane on a flight around Boise, Idaho was a step back into history. I have lots of photos of that trip.

Sad.
Good review, thanks for sharing 👍🏽
*After years of hauling around a large,💫 **allabout.wiki/PORTER** heavy, loud dewalt air compressor (that ironically was advertised as quiet, supposedly 78dB), I bought this. Facepalm. While it is not ‘silent’, I find myself chuckling every time I use it, sparing all my neighbors the terror of my former compressor. I use for inflating tires, impact wrench, finish nailers. Absolutely love it. And I store it under the garage sink in a 24” cabinet. I paired with a coil 1/2”, instead of a my former 50’ 5/8” hose that I had to lug across the yard from the shed, unpleasantly uncoil.... this little guy is light and portable; just a joy. Impact wrench is still capable of easing lug bolts, flywheel bolts, crank pulleys... just allow for a tiny bit of recovery now and then.*

ehhh its ok. runs a lot tho.
agreed, the 20 gallon tank is small.....i have the tire machine right next to it and i put a ''T'' fitting in the line and connected it to the tire machine, which has a 5 gallon tank in it. The extra 5 gals makes a big difference.
Just bought this seems like a good buy for the price
just keep the oil fresh....mine is still doing fine......
Wheres the update?
I guess you're right, it's about time for an update......i'll post up a quick vid.....but the short answer is, after what, over a year....its rock solid, zero issues.....and I have surely been working it.....
Sweet '72 Mike! Just found you and subbed!
Old post but I just bought one of these and I bought the earthquick xt impact wrench. My 50 foot 3/8 hose seems to be leaking at the ends but I can not get it to take lug nuts off the car. What am I doing wrong?
Good question Mike, i have that same impact also, not knowing all the variables you are dealing with, but this compressor, and that earthquake impact should have more than enough power to take a lug nut off. I use this combination to service trucks that have some pretty large lug nuts. 7/8ths lug nuts on a 90's era F450 super duty, 1-3/16ths lug nuts on an IH 4700, never had a problem. 3/8ths hose should move more than enough air for this setup to handle most cars with 19mm lug nuts (3/4 in), etc. The ''leaks'' you are describing are on the connectors you are using, as long as those leaks are just little whispers it shouldnt be an issue.......would love to see a video, make one and link it in here, unless of course you already figured it out......still, make a video anyway, i'd be interested to see....
You could need high flow couplers for your tool and the compressor
i used to use a 40 40 coats tire machine when i worked at sears . thanks for showing this .
we're showing our age Richard....lol.
Talked for over 2 minutes without turning the damn thing on?
I just went and got one from harbor freight, what size hose do I need. I have a 1/4 but was wanting to know if I need a 1/2
Sorry about the delay in answering but I use 3/8
Wow look at that tire machine. That’s a widow maker if that tire bar kicks back. Spent many hours laboring over one of those.
Ya it is......but i'm seasoned at it, I too spent a lot of my early years busting tires on a coats 20/20, the key is to never let your guard down and the beast is tame-able, right?
i’m impressed that it didn’t have to run like a raped Ape to keep the tire machine going i always thought that tire machines needed a big compressor to run them like tire shops usually have although it kind of makes sense that they do have a+small tank built into the Coats
Yes, the small tank in the machine basically makes it a total of about a 30 gallon tank.....
pretty loud i’m curious to find out if that’s going to do the old Coats tire machine or not as i’ve been keeping my eye on used Coat machines online for a remote homestead setting i’m looking to set up ! although it’s kind of hard to beat some of the prices on some new China made machines and high speed balancer combos onthe internet from some of the distributors of automotive lifts like 2 posts and scissor styles
It does run the old coats, barely, but it does run it. sometimes you have to stop and wait for air to catch up, but for the most part it allows you to pop both beads and peel the tire off before it fires the compressor.....I bought this as a quick stand-in compressor till I could get my regular compressor installed and wired and plumbed, it did the job. still working fine.
How is it holding up?
I would say pretty good, I've noticed no drop off in performance and I have probably use this an hour a day since I bought it
Will it run the hf 1/2 impact gun ok?
This one is louder than a Harley Davidson no way Jose.
Yes it is.....after living with this compressor for some time now, I agree...a little on the loud side. But after about 7 months its still chugging. for the money, it has more than done what I asked of it, which was fill in as a temporary compressor while my regular unit was being repaired. Still give it a thumbs up for a value.
COOL !!!
How well does it handle air tools?
the only thing about this, or any compressor with a smaller tank, is any air tool is going to drain the tank down fast. For instance a 1/2 inch impact being used to remove lug nuts will prolly go thru five lugs (one, maybe two wheels) before the compressor will kick back on and start filling back up (this compressor fills and shuts off around 125 and will kick back on at about 100, not unusual)and this compressor catches back up fast. the answer is a bigger tank, like the tire machine in the video has an internal 5 gallon tank, and ive tied that it with the compressor so I actually now have 25 gals of tank storage here, but finding another small tank to tie in to your compressor is easy, you could get a small tank, like even a small portable air tank for filling tires, they are cheap, and with minimal fittings and hose u could tie it in, theres a video in you tube by that one tool revue guy, he did it. ive run the tire machine, air tools, and a spray gun, no problem.
@@mikespillman3075 hey I just bought one an also bought a 1/2 inch hose....well I'm going to return a half inch hose haha...what size coupler comes on the tank? 1/4 or 3/8??
Fuck that loud af
Really should have named this. “Antique tire machine review “
LOL...best comment yet.....I could always do a video if you want, that dinosaur still works and its perfect for all the steel rim 16 inch wheels on our older trucks.....
@@mikespillman3075 FYI - even though I made a smart comment - I still went and bought this compressor today hahahaha
I'm starting a painting business for which I plan to buy this exact compressor before the local sale ends... How many watts does it need in order for a generator to power it? Also Once filled up with air will I still have pressure once engine shuts off or do I rely on the engine to regulate PSI and give air?
Thanks for commenting Raul....i'm not sure how many watts or what size generator you will need to run this compressor, but my guess would be not many considering the size of the electric motor. Also, if you are considering this, or ANY compressor to operate a air powered paint sprayer, two things are important....CFM, and tank size. I think this 20 gallon tank would be a little small for painting (whole cars anyway). I have already used this compressor to sand and prime a ford pickup truck, and once you start spraying the tank drains FAST, and this compressor, in my opinion, will NOT keep up with a spray gun. Now, if you were to add another tank alongside, and run a line over to it, connecting them, essentially making two smaller tanks into one bigger one, you might be ok. but this compressor shuts off at 135 psi, and kicks back on when it goes below 120 or so. Meaning with the 20 gallon tank it will kick on and off ALOT trying to hold that 135psi pressure. if you can afford it, buy one of the larger tank compressors.
Who is the manfacture of the Fortress one gallon air compressor?? If you know will you please give their name and phone number. Larry 909-246-6653
Nobody gives a crap about your stupid tire machine. HOW LOUD IS THE FUCKING MCGRAW COMPRESSOR? Can you make a video about the wall next? Oh please?
well now, the fact that the compressor is good enough to run the tire machine means I thought it was worth noting in the vid, and the compressor is pretty loud, but not so much that you cant talk standing next to it,. I actually already covered that in the comments below with Leopoldo, and i'll do a video about the cinderblock wall next week, stay tuned...
Who pissed in your Cheerios this morning?
RNW is proof positive that idiots just love to point their idiocy out to others.
How noisy is it ???
i couldnt tell you in terms of decibels, but in comparison to other compressors i would say average......not so loud you cant hold a conversation around it while its running...
First mistake. You didn’t read the instructions for breakin. For the first 30mins male end connected so no air builds up in the tank.
if your referring to me Guru, i left the petcock open for the first 30 minutes.....thanks.
Cool.
Allot easier these days. We used to use GM or Ford A/C compressors and a large propane tank and make our own poor mans compressor. Hahaha
I'm considering the 21 gallon oilless one. 🤔
would like to see a video on that one...
@@mikespillman3075 If I get it you can count on a video. 😉👍👍
@@ChrisGilliamOffGrid - Are you considering the McGraw 21 gal oil-less, 175 PSI?
@@GFlCh I'm considering a few, just been broke lately. Tax man got me hard. Probably end up with Dewalt 60v one first, cordless is handy.
Oiless compressors usually don't last as long
Thanks for sub I added you also
Right back at ya!!
29 gallon from harbor freight is way better and way quieter
Agreed, this was on sale...$169, and i needed something fast until i could get my electrical wired for my 220v compressor, and i noticed there were basically zero real reviews of this compressor out there...felt that we needed it. Thanks for your comment.
@@mikespillman3075 no problem didnt mean it in a bad way. I just couldn't believe how quiet the 29 gallon is I have a video of me detailing with it
