I think that with the seat underneath, the drone will be a lot more stable. A lot more safe.

Man how hard could it be? You built this thing in like 13.5 minutes... I could totally build that if I had all the necessary items. Things like the electronics, the carbon fiber, the motors, the hardware, your intellect, dedication, and persistence, oh and your awesome support team. Yep that is all I would need and I could totally probably build something that kinda sorta resembles that when it's stationary! 😜 Great vid and I'm equally happy for you and terrified for you. I've taken the tip of a finger from 5" props and I would take those all day long over the ceiling fans on steroids you are using. Those are the kind of props that don't just chew up some fingers..... Those are unwanted automatic amputation devices! You seem to be erring to the side of caution so I'm sure you've got a solid plan for protecting that important thing resting on your shoulders before you just hop on and go for a flight! Stability with the pilot above the rotors will always be an issue, if it was below it aids stability...theres a reason helicopter rotors are on top...look back at some of the first copter footage where pilots were on top...

its called prop pitch aileron technology a sort of prop gear to change the prop pitch of the fan blades do it to your drone with a control system like a level on a helocropter , 5 times the lift and less or same energy

This is amazing, I've been waiting so long for it. It would be interesting to install a Motorcycle engine in the undercarriage (about 150lb) and a generator, to charge up the batteries in the air for a longer range, making it sort of a hybrid.

Ive got to say it. If it doesnt operate as a car that has the ability to fly it aint no flying car. Everyone says “we already have flying cars its called a helicopter!”. Nawh. It cannot function as a ground vehicle so its not a flying car! Goddamn it’s in the name.
