Individual incandescent light bulbs, lenses and a transparency of a numeral were rear projected onto frosted glass. Sounds expensive!
For the movie 'Colossus - The Forbin Project' the film crew may have turned up the voltage so the numerals would be more visible to the cameras. Some digits aren't working.

Just outside Big Spring Texas along 1-20 just off exit 181a westbound at the FM 700 intersection. It's only the rubber part of the wheel but it was still hot. It was gone the following day. Sorry. No sound. Copyrighted music? Was I singing? Not saying.

Cool! Search for "Synth Swinth" on CZcams for something similar but with nice computer-generated music sharing processor time. Amiga-fast in some spots, albeit using only one (effective) bitplane. Would be cool if your writeup told us what card and math copper. Was the program specifically written to run with the math copper?
