How it's done!

What a scene-stealing dick! I was annoyed and distracted the whole time he took that glove. I'd have been pissed if he took my glove like that. I'm pretty sure it didn't say in the script that he takes her glove and then she gets pissed. Hijacking the emotion of a scene is totally inconsiderate and I don't think you can say disrespecting an actor in the name of improvisation ever constitutes naturalistic acting that anyone should consider appreciating.

Who's The Hero?

It was rather melodramatic and Marlon was a hot commodity at the time. Spencer Tracy was better and he didn't go for the gimmicks like Marlon. Marlon used them to upstage the other actors.

This one scene is a masterclass in acting.

This scene was filmed in Elysian Park at the base of Castle Point Terrace in Hoboken NJ. Their scene took place directly in front of my Grandmother's house.
