Quality is good..not awesome IMO. You can achieve the same quality with an old Canon hf100 which is what I had a few years back. The g20 is good in lowlight, no denying that. Having a focus ring helps. But the price is way too high IMO. I have a Canon SX40 and it matches or beats the video quality of the g20 at a fraction of the cost. I'm only comparing to the quality not hardware inputs/outputs etc. Good video btw.

Are you using auto settings? Always check that all your settings are correct for the conditions and always use manual for the best results.
