I am a scripter with 4 years of experience who started commissions. You cannot make miracles. Don't expect to watch a few youtube videos and being able to make a full game, because it isn't possible. Even I still know very little and I am still learning new things everyday. My tip would be to actually ask yourself if you want to script. If you have a will to spend countless hours on some errors. It can be learned but it shouldn't only be a skill, but it should even be a hobby.
