A lovely man!!!! It's so sad he died quite young. I'm sick of people commenting they weren't talented or a real group......they were all very talented and had musical skills!!!!!! The monkees were a great band who surpassed the likes of modern-day boy bands by stratospheric miles!! He is remembered and will never be forgotten. How he speaks so gently , articulating himself beautifully, something modern day artists seldom do.

Nesmith was truly an unrecognized genius!! He is the father of country rock with groups like The Byrds (post David Crosby), The Eagles, Poco, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, New Riders of the Purple Sage, etc. following his lead a couple years later. Listen to his early Monkees compositions, like Papa Gene's Blues (which he produced as early as 1966) songs like that laid the ground work way back then. RIP

Something doesn’t add up. There must be players backstage. Who is playing bass while Pete sings Auntie Griselda? Mary Mary has a searing electric guitar but Mike is only playing an acoustic. I don’t buy that they are the only ones playing live.

You better start taking better records, yesterday! Records (not vinyl) that are 60 years old plus! Start with putting your records vertically! How would you like to be one of those bottom records getting squashed. What covers getting ruined! If you take enough pride in your collection to make a video of it you should take just as much pride in taking care of them and letting them last double their lifespan!
