You can’t fix someone who won’t fix themselves for you & the sake of the relationship. If they keep sinking their ships then you finally have to let them stay down & move in different waters to find better relationships that won’t jeopardize anything they want to build & grown with you. Only watched half this video but what I watched was legalistic. There is nothing in scripture to and your wife cant have "phone sex", for example, if you are both comfortable with that over a distance. You've taken the verse in Corinthians beyond its meaning. This is not enough evidence to prove such a thing. It is simply saying that people have a sex drive and therefore should be married. It echoes the genesis passage "its not good for a man to be alone". It just says that a husband and wife should fulfill each other. It doesn't say that they have to be physically in the same room or they can't use vibrators or anything like that. Men have a build up of semen and it has to be released regularly. That is a medical fact. If you don't release it you just become very horny and if you are away from your wife on a work trip you could fall into temptation. There is a lot of temptation around. So isn't it better to just wank it off so you can forget about it and just function normally in your work day? Thats common sense. You WANT masturbation to be wrong because it seems a bit weird and "untidy", shall we say, and you are fitting scripture around your way of thinking instead of just obeying the plain meaning of the word. Creating taboos and things that have "no bearing on righteousness". You are making rules that God never intended us to be burdened with. The bible speaks against that type of thinking. The bible says what you CAN do in marriage. It doesn't say what you CAN'T. Your thinking about "alignment" is like walking past a car factory on your way to work and, each day, you see a Ford Focus come out. You conclude that "this factory only produces the Ford Focus". But every lunch time a Ford Falcon comes out. Your thinking on masturbation being "a selfish act" is like saying you should never eat chocolate because you are "serving your own taste buds". Come on, now. Read Song of Solomon and how sex should be absolutely CELEBRATED in marriage. Yes, that stuff is in the bible! So let's not tie everyone up in legal knots so you cant breathe! (In this, I am not addressing singles and masturbation, that is another topic)

I've surrendered it all to God & have forgiven them. Since mother passed away 4 years ago, my family has rejected my son & I after caretaking my mother & honoring her wishes. I may have walked away from the love of my life. I wanted so much more than a digital relationship. Military kept us apart, so I will never truly know!
