Revealer + discard + georgious gets to this board. Do the normal revealer combo for Croc + Toad but when you make coral dragon make it in the EMZ. Then summon georgious and use the effect to summon revealer back, make Lancea. Then either make Dragite with the Coral and tokens or banish speaker from GY for the extra token to make Croc for the draw 4 combo. Thanks for watching (:

Simply summon the sleepnir first

Normal hexa , send mirror become level 2, mirror add georgious, Georgious summon self and then mirror, runick summon hugin, add fountain. Hugin and hexa for herald on 5th summon. Then use extenders to continue playing or just make Dragite by tributing Georgius. Change order of operations based on what you want to play around. Hope this helps (:

Some lines you can’t make a negate before summon 5 but can make Lancea. So if you get nibbed you get to remove the nib and a card from hand with Trish. In the instances when Lancea gets removed summoning Trish is almost always enough interruption on its own. Zero is good too but playing 2 extra deck spots for floating is means you aren’t playing something else in the extra which will come up in different scenarios. I saw on the other video you mentioned cutting a hugin for it. While you can play the deck with 1 hugin because the ice barrier engine is strong enough to win games on its own at times, having flexibility is more important over a larger sample of games. Hugin protecting cards from destruction also comes up a lot too, especially for protecting your floodgate monsters like Raiho and Georgious. This is all just my personal preference and what my testing has shown. If you like Zero more than trish/the second hugin then that’s totally fine and you should keep playing it. @@aegisygo7406 Gotcha, thanks for all the info! I plan to try building pure Ice Barrier (With three Icejade Ran Aegerine splashed in because it's an instant Lancea) and all this info helps a lot. I was thinking of Barrier Statue of the Torrent, but based off your analysis I'm probably gonna wind up cutting it.

It works but it fills your EMZ so you can’t summon more runick monsters. Also it takes ice barriers off field so they only thing you can search to keep going is the reborn to bring back mirror magic and then tribute for Dragite through coral. So it gets you somewhere. Alternatively you can just make S:P with Hexa Hugin in that scenario. Thanks for watching (:

Ngl it’s hard to say. With snake eyes still legal we’re talking MAX tier 2, maybe tier 3. Hopefully there will be a list before euros in which case I hope for it to be tier 2. Either way I expect it to be playable from the outset and preorder prices confirm it’ll be a cheap deck, so if you’re looking for something competent this fits the bill. Thanks for watching (:

It essentially is the same as hexa except it’s not an ice barrier name so you can’t summon georgious where you could if you summoned Hexa instead. Don’t think you need anymore starters as you already have plenty. If I was to add another way of sending mirror magic I think I would go swap frog first as it’s level 2 for toad and can special itself. But I don’t think it’s needed. Thanks for watching (:

90% of my videos are recorded on duelingbook however I had the cards on hand as I’ve been testing with them. Also it can be easier to show alternative lines in paper, as well as discussing the hugin timing in the hexa line. In regards to sauravis I don’t think it’s needed as you can normally play through handtraps but you certainly could play it. Thanks for watching (:

Hard to say because it depends what the playable decks are when all the new cards come out from Battles and Info. You’re likely going to want to side an ice barrier floodgate monster for less monster heavy decks like Medium of the ice barrier. I imagine d barrier is still gonna be mandatory, probably want nibiru. Evenly seems to always be popular in runick combo decks. But honestly it depends what’s being played! Thanks for watching (:

Droplet is great in most decks, my only concern would be drawing them off fountain in your opponents turn when they could have been a handtrap. However the same can be said for TTT which I am playing. Thanks for watching (:

Yeah as I said in the video you can do the barrier lock without omega if you banish cards with runicks. But to do this turn 1 you need to open Tip or Slumber as they’re (normally) the only ones you can activate the effect to banish on turn 1. Which I think is fairly inconsistent. Yeah it’s not as good in runick as it is in pure, but it is another starter and I’d personally rather have more starters even if they conflict with the runick cards. For example if I open MMM and a runick spell searching revealer off MMM off the hugin discard allows you to build a board that’s better than if you didn’t have it. Thanks for watching (:

@@aegisygo7406 but in this combo you can't make Herald, and you can't summon another Runick monster if you had a second Runick spell :/ Need more testing anyway !

No but you can end on Lancea + Dragite and just use the runick spell on opps as interruption and to get your draws. If you don’t like it as a starter you could always cut it down to 1 copy since it’s super searchable. I also like revealer as a turn 3 play because summon georgious from deck revive something from gy is incredible follow up. But I agree my list does need more testing it is by no means a perfect list just where I’ve ended up after about 9 months of testing on and off. (Can you believe these cards were announced September last year it’s flew by!)

Honestly I haven’t done enough testing with WW runick to say either way. I know the baronne ban hurt WW more than Ice Barrier, but the WW cards are very pushed so I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being better than Ice Barrier. I have and it’s not bad, however it does take an extra deck slot and fills the EMZ so you can’t activate any runicks to summon. Also assuming you’ve used your normal on hexa then it’s quite difficult to put another ice barrier on board (realistically it’s the reborn for MMM) You can 100% play it, I think if hexa gets negated and I need fountain badly I’m gonna just have to make S:P afterwards. @@aegisygo7406can’t you just send mirror magic, get freezing chains, special back mirror magic, and then tribute the sprind for the mirror magic? and if you have another runick in hand at that point, you can just chain it since the emz is cleared

Trish doesn’t need to banish from all 3 locations. E.g. if your opponent has a card in gy and hand but not field you can still banish from GY and Hand. Trish however can miss timing if the Lancea effect to summon when removed from field is not CL1. So maybe that’s what you experienced?

Hard to say with certainty, we should get the rarity’s announced soon (unless they already have been and I just missed it) and that should help gauge the price. However because it’s a side set high rarity cards tend to be a little more expensive than their main set counterparts. But even if the cards are moderately expensive it should still be a relatively budget option! Thanks for watching (:

@@brandongreen8895 I’d be concerned about upping the chance of drawing them over playable cards. Playing both gives you about a 24% chance to see at least 1. Also it doesn’t really solve the extra deck space problem. You probably could play both but those drawbacks would be something to be wary of.

Really rough into removal effects specifically, but you can play into negates quite well. And of course the runick spells are great for breaking boards. Thanks for watching (:

Herald/toad on 5 was in combos 1 and 3. In combo 2 we made Lancea on 5, which doesn’t negate nib, but let’s you banish nib and a card from hand by floating into trish. Also since herald and toad both tribute for cost you dodge Nib + Imperm also.

In combo 2, if you get nibbed on Lancea summon, Lancea will float into Trish (obviously), BUT, mirror magic hasnt been sent to grave yet, so you can trigger Mirror magic to add the continuous spell. Then use it to revive Mirror magic. We can tribute off the trishula, make the tokens and keep climbing again :). Ive done it many many times. People usually surrender/rage quit when i activate Mirror magic and they realise that they just got hand ripped for 1, used nib and im still going. SO effectively theya re just down to 3 cards and im still going XD

In a vacuum I can see why you’d want to play statue over Raiho, but making a 10 you already want to end on is more consistent than going through prima, I get you can go through mirror and the tokens but it’s an extra deck slot and you need to get a card banished turn 1 which means you need slumber/droplet/tip. Maybe the upside of statue is worth it, but I like consistency personally. Thanks for watching (:

Yeah because it doesn’t water lock you and it’s a tuner it plays a lot better with the runick engine, also if you’re discarding for hugin and revealer your hand size goes down very quickly! Thanks for watching (:
