Thank you. But, I'm afraid she is all show and no go at the moment. The slash that it is on will do in the 40s with the pickup truck body on it and smaller wheels before it tries to fly away. The wheels that are on it in this video are horribly out of balance out of the box. I've tried to balance them to no avail. I am currently waiting for a set of dboots hoons to arrive. I ordered 53/100 for rear 42/100 for front, gold compound. I would ultimately like to find a 325mm 4wd chassis that isn't outrageously priced to put one of these bodies on.

I am running the stock gears on my 1601. I'm running a slightly larger and higher kv motor. But the gears are 0.7M. Same as the WL Toys A9X9 vehicles. The stock pinion gear for my A959B will mesh perfectly with the 1601 spur gear. Hope this helps.

It has a 2435 3900kv brushless motor and 35A ESC currently on 2s with WPL 2 speed transmission and portal axles. My factory transmission never made any noises. It was the stock differentials that started to grind on mine. Hope this helps.

Lol... Yep. Any time you add weight you will need to add some power. Or maybe gear down. More so if it is rotating mass. The 2 speed gearbox and motor is defiantly a good upgrade. The single speed metal gearbox I had in mine at first had plenty of torque, but was slow.

Looks like it. New receiver and ESC are on the way. Maybe I can enjoy driving this car after they are installed.

It is a Proline pro3572-00. It is a 1972 Ford Pinto. The body is meant to fit the Traxxas Bandit as a no-prep drag race body. I ended up turning my Bandit into a Slash. So I searched for a vehicle with a similar wheelbase as the Bandit. Turns out that the Arrma Vorteks has the same wheelbase. Ya. The gears aren't meshed up very well in the stock diffs.

You will need to replace the stock shocks. The metal differentials do not have the peg that the stock shocks slip over to mount. You could probably use the stock shocks if you make a bushing to fill the gap on the stock shocks mount. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry. That is incorrect. The mount pieces are a separate piece that can be removed from the stock differentials and mounted to the metal ones. I did the servo on differential modification. That requires replacing the stock shock and rod mount pieces. Sorry again. :(

@@myrcobsession hey man! thanks appreciate it. Can't wait for mine to arrive need to install it ASAP, because stock gears in differential grind itself like powder. Guess I'd do slow upgrades one at a time

The metal differentials are definitely a must. Be sure to thread lock all of the mounting and wheel screws. Not a bad Idea to open them up and check for grease also.

@@myrcobsession thread lock for the possibility of corrosion if water gets in the hub or is it to hold them up and not fall off while crawling?

Have you seen what is inside of a WL Toys A959B? I don't crawl the Gladiator. I just run it around the back yard. It will soon have FCX24 differentials.

@@myrcobsession I have Maultiere k959 builds but the motor is somewhat appropriate for the size of the car, this here is like putting a freight train motor in a vw beetle

@@trainboyplus2652 I'm sure the "K" 959 has an appropriately sized motor. I asked if you have seen an "A" 959 "B". They are pretty ridiculous. If you haven't seen one, I have a video of mine on here. Yes. Big motor. Mo Powa Baby.

The wheels are INJORA ModuWheel 1.3 beadlock with carbon fiber center. Tires are DJCrawler Muddy Swamp 74mm x 28mm with purple silicone inserts. You must use a 5mm to 7mm hub adapter to run them.
