LOL - question for Megan, I’m struggling professionally as a biomedical engineer and on top of that the racist behaviour is also becoming a bit too much to handle, especially mentally! Would you recommend moving on from the UK for a better professional life experience perhaps in the US? What do you think?

Awesome! I have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology. My thesis was about increasing the operational range of turbo machinery using casing treatments. Lots of work but worth it. I used Fine/Numeca turbo CFD software to design the casing treatments 👍🏿 would love to do more research on the subject but I’m a-bit skeptical where to do it. Any advice on which schools I should apply to?

I called my brother to my room = he said with a laugh that it was part of the Pistorius distillery :) After the program, I told him that the Japanese had a similar association = part of the brewing equipment :) In my opinion, this item has no decorative function, because the sleeve in the middle spoils the harmony. It is certainly an element of the ''cargo cult'' from five thousand years ago. Someone lost something and the Egyptians copied it as a ''divine gadget''.

Excellent video, thank you. It’s great to see and hear such capable engineering communicators and especially women engineering communicators. I studied Physics and Electronics Engineering at Brunel in the 80s and it’s interesting to see the campus again. Your interview (presumably in the Howell Building?) reminded me of dreaded tutorials in my first year! My daughter who studied Computer Science (elsewhere) is now working as a software engineer and she’s active in encouraging women engineers too.

Did you start your BEng Degree from 1996? I think i might be in the same class as you did?
