What about just use steam link?

I was scanned as 33W which was completely wrong. Went to 21W which improved POV a lot. But it was still painful on my forehead and if I didn’t use the W+ Cushion it also hurts on my nose. Then I finally decided to go 11W which is perfectly fine in comfort, lens glare and FOV.

I’ve actually tested every one that Apple makes, had the AVP since it dropped… 21W all the way… Depending upon your facial bone structure… so when I say this is literally flush on my face with the 21W, I have issues with Optic ID at times, and I purposely have to kind of unlock & shimmy AVP down my nose to unlock it. 21W fits like a glove… and I am constantly getting you are too close to the screen. (I literally blink and or tear up at times through different weather changes i.e., going from indoors to outdoors whether it’s hot or cold or air-conditioned and let’s say my contact, or my eye gets irritated, and my tears from my eye will hit the screen if I don’t pull the AVP off as soon as a small tear occurs) … I guess I freaked out because I don’t wanna mess the screens up. But the difference between no facial shield and 21W for me is nothing big. My FOV is pretty excellent… I’ve driven (not to post & not for clout) with family, I can wear it all the time… the difference going with any face

I kinda feel this will put too much stress on those two connection points (not sure what they are called) that encase the speakers and connect to the visor. The device wasnt designed for it to hold the weight of the visor like that. Over time, I think they could break/separate or if you are walking around, bouncing them could cause them to break/separate. Damaging either the connector or worse, the headset falls off and breaks. I am using the dual loop connector tho as of yesterday and so far it's great, but with the visor still.

why not just use a bobovr halo strap? why pay so much for loop bands

Great video. Love using with no light shield. But i need a decent head band accessory like you’ve prototyped. Currently I use with a foam wedge to support device sitting on bridge of my nose. Works well

This is a great example of a scenario that the Vision Pro really knocks out of the park. The idea that you can bring this kind of workstation to any place in your house is incredible.

I got these too, but I had the velcro straps just like you showed in your video, and that fits better than this these. I think it is too expensive and i recommend folks try the velcro first and get these if the velcro doesn’t give you the fit you need.

That's fine and all, if the Xreal weren't so shit. So yes, you are correct, but it's not something anyone should recommend as a setup.

The top strap needs to be able to move slightly forward and backwards to ensure comfort.

Thanks for a very helpful video. FWIW I find Apple's dual band headband comfortable and, once I adjusted the top band to fit my head, I now only have to adjust the rear strap when I put the AVP on. The key is not to over tighten the straps.

in my samsung galaxy zfold 4 NEbula app doesn't work

I love using VP. But it’s so uncomfortable. I with they made some something to release the pressure on my cheeks. The solo band it’s so well made and comfortable itself. They have some amazing research guys to come up with that. But the use case it’s a shame. This is my first VR. I read about bobo accessories for Quest. Apple should made something like that but way better. Would fix the n 1 complaints

Life is a perpetual IQ test… I have found a way to adjust the Solo Knit Band to a sufficient degree of comfort, it simply takes a bit of effort… however, I like this idea, as it could be a suitable option as well. Have yet to try the dual band… Nice VP hack… 🤔

The 11M press down on my cheeks close to my nose, while a 36W press down on my eyes close to my temple, which cause Optic ID to not work at all. I cannot fiind any light seal that can rest somewhat on my nose, distributing the weight. All seals I tried just press down on my forehead and cheeks. Hoping for some 3rd party seals soon. Ones with air pumps would be great.
