Was on the good ship Uganda in 1971 - I learned that poverty wasn't not having cheap trainers - not having a solid floor in your house -as we witnessed in the Azores is poverty. We mixed from both sides of the West of Scotland divide and found that neither of us had horns ! We discovered friendly people where we stopped and came back realising that people are people where ever you roam. I will always be grateful for the voyage and the facts of life it taught me.
