How much does gear really matter? You're showing off gear and GW2 says just jump in at level 3 you'll be fine but it seems like I die so fast when most people don't.

how do you do weapon master? Im an old player and I can't seem to fix match weapons and specialization. is this a wvw thing only? can I use it in pvp?

Can hammer work with power herald instead of the great-sword (for pvp/wvw especially)? I don’t have SOTO or EOD so gotta find a sweet spot with whats available.

The animations genuinely look like they're in slow mo. Wouldn't be surprised if the animators animated them at normal speed, and then the balance team came in and tweaked them to fit the cast times. Also watch at 1.5x speed and it looks normal, so 100% they slowed the animations by that amount lol.

Low intensity builds are awesome for us south americans who play with 200 ping, it's impossible otherwise

Yeah that's the difference when you see someone play Herald to it's true potential and see how much it can do vs. me, who gets owned on Herald in 3 seconds. I tend to play much much better on a Renegade.

Herald feels so good after the latest patch, the damage is very very good and of course it's again one of the best +1 roamers and team fighters. You always gotta play safe in 1vs1 and against condis, but with proper management you can outplay manh things out there. Glad especially power herald is back on track :)

My personal opinion: AA looks super BAD Dont do DPS and dont do a nice heal, lost for every weapon in heal or dps The skills is nice to play in grup, in Solo play, its even more zero sense, and in grup, you have alot of better options Only the simbol looks avarage (but is yellow)

im praying they add self heal to the spear too, would be an amazing open world weapon

eeeh, more movement for a class that deserves it and less, the spear skills in general are nice, now in terms of effect, only by a miracle, the skills of the revenant spear seem like a bad joke (main rev), how much I waited for a ground spear and when they finally put it in the game and this crap (in revenant), makes me wonder why I still play gw2, and what it seems is that nobody thinks these things are bad, nobody complains, so all I can do is just quit the game. Thanks Spudzie for the teachings about revenant o/

The thing that gets me about Holosmith sword, more than anything, is the animation on the third attack. It looks goofy, if not outright stupid, on every race. The human has that dumb double-bounce windup for no reason, asura have that wrist-roll -- it just looks as trash as it is.

After playing the beta I think the main problem is the dash skill 3. It's very short, and the mines it leaves behind are too far offset behind, most likely not affecting the enemy you are running through or from. It also lacks a true revenant style, flashing in from the mists, like skill 3 sword. The spear is a good mid range weapon, and has a good synergy with a vindicator, but that's about it. The damage is awful compared to the other 8 spear classes. Though the graphics are ok, its a little heavy handed with the red and black theme, no other weapons have this theme.

im sad but agree.. i have almost all legendary armor for my rwevenant, and spar concept is my favourite, i was TOTALLY escited about it, and now im so sad, im even thinking on move to mesmer as main.

Have you seen cas shop in BDO? GW2 is still basically a saint in compairson to 80% of mmo's.

Can't say I see the appeal to them in a game like Guild Wars. But then again I have a life, and get laid....so....
