Great video guys. Alot of memories for me when I fished off Brandywine with Ron and Don Rosewall in the 80s aboard the Drifter 3 on a 4th of July night. We caught 10 huge black drum that night. Keep your shoes tied on tight. 👍👍

As a kid we used to target them at IR inlet in the rocks on the south side. Needed a perfect drift to stay close. They were a lot of fun! Nothing that big but still a fun fish.

Great video great to fish with your son .i took mine when they were young now they take me their big time fishermen its wonderful seeing your kids catching fish i did learn one thing the tog when you catch one over 20 inches the fish is around 40 years old they grow slow and live very long just a little information i learned. the shark looked like a dusky

The weight restrictions are making almost impossible to get any keepers. I was at the Massey's Landing pier Sunday and there was a guy drifting eels under the pier. He caught over 20 Stripers while I was there and not one keeper.

If bloodworms aren't available..I've had good luck in that area with pink fishbites on my Sabiki setup as well. Good day in the inlet.

Those were some sweet rockfish! Biggest I ever caught on live spot was a 27 inch rock. One thing I've discovered for saving money is that spot will bite night crawlers just as much as blood worms.

Where did his line break? Leader or mainline? I hooked my first blue over a week ago and it snapped my 20 pound braid mainline, probably right at a knot. Ive since upgraded to 50 pound braid.

I really want to go over there and go fishing. Could you recommend any good spots to fish from shore, as i dont have a boat or know anyone with one and whens a good time to fish for strippers

Great video. Pretty close to what I use normally. I was using a whole mackerel this one day when I was after a 40 plus inch striper but I hooked a great white shark instead while fishing fom my kayak. Stop by Capt'n Bones and look at their selection of glide baits. I started fishing big glide baits for the first time this year and they are legit always on one of my poles now. Along with the trusty ol Zoom lizard.

I see you fish a lot of development ponds. What county in the state do you fish in the most? I'm right around the Hartly, Dover area and anytime I find a nice development pond on Google maps and go fishing, so many people come out and bitch at me for it.

Cool video their are some big sand tigers in the bay and one time i caught a 19 in tog and when the took to the barn they told me that tog grow so slow that a 16 in tog is around 14 years old and now i cant seem to keep tog i release them they are pound for pound one of the hardest fighting fish in the bay

When you think you have a bite. Point rod tip in direction of where you think fish is. Real, whenever you feel the weight of the fish set hook. I always did it the way you said. My uncle on Okeechobee taught me that God bless thanks for your video

If UR out there thinkin a 130 size is too big for bass you haven't actually fished it. They absolutely will nail this size 😉 50lb braid and 7 ft plus rod heavy action for the 130. Loon b a great color too !
