Still has the original: windshield (in great condition); seat upholstery and headliner;
A/C all there..but needs some work
PAINT: base coat with clear coat was done a few years ago
NEW WHEN PAINTED: bumpers; tail lts.; back up lights; emblems; window felts and rubbers;
NOTE: It is very hard to find an early Mustang that is this straight and never wrecked in the past!! No rust repairs

Very nice ride. First red interior I've seen on the Mach 1. I had the same year and model with a white interior(390/4Speed). I really wanted the black interior but,,,oh well. I laughed at the broken clock as mine was also ng when I got her. Nice video....those were the days!

That is not a 1969,It's a 1968 different grill an tail lamps.Better check your vin and tags.
Front fenders all trim, grille, bumpers, doors/vent windows, dash, door panels. A lot of different things from 68 to 69.
Sorry for the mix up...you are correct...I am a mustang expert and know very little about chevys...my friend that owns this has 2 of them...this 68 white and a 69 that is also white...I got the 2 mixed up...will double check my text and see if the text is correct...thanks for the heads up...I appreciate it!

Right, that seems to be way off. That motor is about $25k tops if you buy it directly from Kaase racing engines, wheels from summitracing, but the car itself is nowhere near that.

Great car. Do the necessary mechanical work and drive. Life is too short to worry about paint and chrome.
Too bad it didn't come with a Traction Lok differential. With the 3.00 gear it came with I guess the original owner must have wanted a highway cruiser.
My friend had the 428 CJ with 3.91 Traction Lok. My 390 had the 3.25. His was incredibly quick around town.
I believe Trim Variation may reflect a supplier change during production. What I am certain about is that it is not significant at all.

Nk the trim variation is wood grain instead of. BLack dash or i dont know 100 percent some 428 429 and boss you. Ould special order stainless it may say that do ti ut having two options for trim

Had my 1963 coupe corvette in the 70s in the 5 years I put 100,000 miles on it. And had lot miles when i got it. Had fun driving it.
That's a lot of years to go by, with very little wear and tear. I don't know if I could tolerate owning it. I'd be torn between the desire to drive it, and the terror of being in traffic, or leaving it parked somewhere, and the associated risk of damage. It deserves preservation.

clock is easy to fix
quite odd that the fan is that fragile, meaning cheaply made, Not even necessary to take that half of case off to replace drive assembly
the rubber donut is the most common failure point, would be great to be able to just replace the donut and not the whole assembly, surely one could find a suitable part, I will attempt to solve this problem
Have you had any success replacing the donut? I'm working on a Thumper where this appears to be the failure mode. The motor, fan, and drive are working fine, but the drive rod is just moving freely up and down inside the metal cross piece without causing any tipping/thumping. -Tom
@@TLMuse yes, I have the donut part, as the vid illustrates Thumper sells it (I paid less than this guy) and have it on my repair list The replacement has a few tricky bits as illustrated in the Vid, have not actually done it. The donut is not available as stand alone part, have gone down that rabbit hole but do not know the exact material they use, but if I did the sizes are available and it would make the repair cheaper and much easier.
