The stun baton has a different animation to the baton, I find it much easier to use. The repulsor mod, gives the stun baton a really silly amount of knock-back. 😅 I've just tested a horde base where I use the stun baton / repulsor mod to bounce all the zombies into Rekt's compound. 🤣 Funny as. Anyway, intellect builds using the stun baton and junk turrets are fairly legit. 👍

I think the normal seating in the 4x4 is 2 and the schematic raises that to 4. I don't think it works on the minibike or chopper

Yep, 5 skulls is the highest you will see. But, some POI's are more challenging than others. This can also be affected by Trader Quest level, and type. A high tier generator or infested quest can be very scary.

Or use it to make ammo. 😉

I feel like we need to be able to construct in concrete first, as the cobblestone is too easily broken through.

Instead of bars, try the scaffolding ladder. Make sure the block outline is on the side away from zombies or they can climb it.

While I'm pretty sure the POI doesn't matter, I do think the biome difficulty counts for horde game stage.

Yeah didn't go to bad, we'll be using the prison again for the next horde. I have some ideas to ensure it goes better next time. And thanks for the tips :)

Unfortunately I've had a lot going on in my life these last few weeks, thus I was releasing the episodes too inconsistently. This resulted in views for the series dropping quite quickly over the last several videos.

@@PraetorianHiJynx we’ve been playing the last few days and it’s so good! The first night we set aside an hour to make characters and start the first little bit of the game. We took two hours just making our characters! XD we didn’t even get a chance to play, we had to go to bed. We kept talking about being excited to play when we got off work the following day.

Well when I said they "spawned in the prison," I didn't mean in the building, but inside the walls, which was very clearly the case. We put spikes all around the walls and expected them to have to break through them.

Yeah now that we've done a horde there, I have a few ideas of how we can improve the location so that the zombies go where we want them.

Yeah wasn't too bad, we'll be using it again for the next horde :)

Jynx loves 7 Days, we've been playing this together since 2016, when it released on the PS4. I don't think there's any game we've played more co-op of in the 17 years of our marriage :D

The fancy axe is the upgrade to the Fireaxe. You should put all your axe mods in there. 😁 It's not a bad weapon, but it doesn't have the combat perks like the club, etc.

A note about the skulls, you'll notice the two colours, the orange ones are the biome modifier and the red ones are from the POI.

One thing you can do, instead of having to place / remove that block to enter your base, is to build a ladder but skip the bottom two segments, you can still jump on and climb up (might take a little practice) but zombies can't climb it.

Another thing you can do is place hatches onto the wall, so they open to make a step. You can then close them to stop zombies from entering.

Hatches and Doors have some cool uses besides the obvious. Not just steps. You have that walkway to your wall, for example, you could replace two blocks with a flat, horizontal door, then you can close it to make a path, and open it to break the path. Where you have a door that opens outwards, you can place a hatch that opens so that the lid opens against the closed door. When you open the door and the hatch you have a nice barricade to stand behind and fight. Because the gap between the top of the hatch and the top of the doorway is 1 block, zombies can wiggle through, so you might want to put a thin block above the hatch at that point to make this harder for them.

Did you put down a land claim block? They don't spawn with in your land claim area. ;)

How big is your base? If it's too big, then they could be spawning outside of the land claim's area. Are you sure they're not finding a way in? These zombies can be quite clever at times lol

Yeah the issues I explained in our previous conversation resulted in me being quite inconsistent with the series over the last few weeks, and thus the views dropped quite a bit. I also intended for this series to be a beginner guide Let's Play, and at this point there's not anything left to explain.

Also I understand why you did the Lower difficulty but I think I’ve preferred to watch the back and forth.

Well to be clear, in the later episodes once I've unlocked more options, that is not the building I choose to put on my asteroids. I simply needed some research early on here. I played on hard in the previous campaign btw, but this map was not a good fit for that because it was designed for team play, which I didn't want to do.

Well I didn't have too many issues with the Vasari in the playthrough, it was actually the TEC Primacy that caused me the most issues.

Yeah it's a fun game, but it can get quite silly with the focus trees.

The new series starting tomorrow is after we have a much better understanding of the new version :)

I sell quite a few next episode, as we start doing a lot of warfare.

Sorry the series has been a bit inconsistent, our children went back to school a couple weeks ago after being homeschooled for 3 years, and since we only have one vehicle my schedule has been quite hectic as we try to get everyone to school and work on time. However, the finale episode is uploading now.

But the beer has been getting better and better. 😅

I'm not sure it was planned, considering that Hitler had an American southern accent in the previous game :D
