Nice! 👏🏽 How do you keep your embroidery machine dust/lint free? Especially on the presser foot area 😊
@@tee7697 we run an airline from our compressor and blow all the lint away
@@squeezed_orange interesting! Would you recommend those little handheld ones or go straight for a compressor 😅
@@tee7697 little handheld one would be perfect
Well done on the embroidery. And again...what an immaculate shop. I can't get over how tidy and organized everything is. Well done...again.
@@durgles2306 thank you!
la mera belga pelada, saludos desde El Salvador, ustedes me inspiran, cuando sea grande quiero ser como ustedes ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡!!!!!
Is the backing a heat transfer type to press on a garment?
@@andreaedward2188 it is indeed
Water ink?
Bravo propre
Can you use a larger hood and do several patches at one time? Are these iron on or see on patches? You make it look so easy. Thanks for the demo, I need the push to make some patches.
When running bulk production we use big frames, can produce 10-15 patches at a time. These are iron on, but would always recommend sewing on for a permanent fixture. Give patches a try, the hardest part is the digitising, give us a shout if you need any help.
Looking great. Which material did you use as a substrate instead of fabric?
Maderia badge film
this type of backing seems fun but so wasteful 😭
What about the other types of embroidery backing?
Name of the machine??.
Barudan
@@squeezed_orange thanks 😊
D'oh. I've been using a lighter to edge my patches. lol
A lighter works. I found the hot knife has a bit more control and no fear of setting the patch on fire haha!
nice
Why do you use the heat gun when there isn't any foam, does it help the threads?
It shrinks back any loose ends and generally tightens up the stitches
@@squeezed_orange That's a top tip, thanks!
how did you digitize the fake chenille pattern looks dope
Digitising videos coming
Is your workbench mobile? Where can I get it from? 😊
Made it ourselves. Its racking from the warehouse with casters added 🙌🏼
Absolutely love your work! Are you using poly thread from Madeira? I use viscose from Madeira and I find that when I go over it with a heat gun it burns it if I'm not careful 😪 Also, what does brushing help with?
We use poly thread for garments, viscose thread for badges. Poly thread tightens up nicely when heat gunned, we find this helps cover up the foam from sticking out. The brush is to remove any last bits of foam / dust - it can also help remove hoop marks from garments
I'll give the poly thread and brush tip a go 😁 Keep up the hard work!
is possible pay for just one??? I need just one! of my own design.
Did you use polyester or rayon thread?
Rayon for patches, Poly for garments
@@squeezed_orange thank you
New intro ?
Did you not use any paper like backing? I see you only used the soluble x whats re the benefits and cons?
The backing we used is specific badge backing, Its a little different to soluble toppers. Main difference is badge backing is very thick, giving a nice solid base for embroidery. Very little pull compensation needed.
I like those stitches! Did you create them or did Barudan?
I do all the digitising in house
What program that you use to create a design?
@@fukawa wilcom
@@squeezed_orange thank you, it came out so clean
cool stuff dude... I still fail every time I try mixing the puffing stuff to the inks
Quiero saber cómo se llama esa puntada especial o si es creada manual ❤
Se llama chain stitch
Another Slick Patch! Super Clean!
Que relleno de puntada usas
Dayyuuummmmmm! NO FEAR! Super Slick! My anxiety would be at a all time high while my machine was doing that LOL
Whats the worst that can happen hahaha!
Good
lol I don even understand the process
Good job we do 🤙🏼
Excellent!!
My favourate machine barudan brand
Looks amazing! Can I ask what motif that is and how you did it?
Had a few people ask, tutorial might come soon
Your creations are beautiful! Curious about DTF printing for your next project? @fastdtftransfer
What blanks were you using? The side seam pockets are so much better than front kangaroo pockets
These were custom blanks supplied by the client, not around anymore unfortunately
@@squeezed_orange Thanks for letting me know. Much appreciated
Is that regular craft foam or something else that you used for the 3D effect? I didn't see it in the description.
We use 3d body builder foam from Madeira Threads - shop.madeira.co.uk/backing-topping--applique-fabrics/topping-and-speciality-backing/bodybuilder-3d-foam.htm
Love that, looks fantastic
I want this mission
How do you cut it out so close without nicking the satin stitch
The embroidery needle itself destroys the material... the material that is left on the outside comes off because it receives hundreds of punctures with the needle... but the material that is "trapped" between the thread makes the embroidery look inflated, They are two functions in the same step... the needle weakens the edges of the sponge and the fabric... then passes the lighter to burn and contract the loose polyester threads... the result is wonderful! Imagine everything you can do... make a cap lined with embroidered pieces... or glue pieces on adidas samba... wow it will be my next toy, I recommend Janome the largest... 38cmx20cm the embroidery area.
How many layers of plastic did you use? What type of plastic is that? And where did you purchase it?
3 layers of Madeira Badge film, link in the description for you 🤙🏼
Preciate it @@squeezed_orange
Love all the vids! Keep it up! Have you ever looked into the magnetic hoops? I use and love them.
Thank you! I used the magnetic hoops on our old Brother machines. Not got any for the Barudans, Its going to be expensive to change them all
@@squeezed_orangeworth it bro.dont question it. Get one hoop and use a free shipping code from a youtuber. Saves me hella time on patches
HELLO What is the font on that cap?
Artwork supplied by client, I have no idea
You didn't use stabilizer?
You don't use stabilizer?
Dont need to on constructed hats
Where these designs are available?
Great work. Just wondering where you are located?
Essex, UK
What’s the heat gun for? Is it necessary for the finished product?
Burns off any loose ends and tightens the threads
Name for the Gum Please
@@shefiuadewole7715 Dewalt heat gun. Any heat gun will work perfectly
How long did this process take and how long did the machine take to print
Too long. This method is not suitable for bulk production 😂
@@squeezed_orange but unique and bad ass though....
i am thinking of buying their 250 6/4 too but the black version. Not sure what the differences are but i just like black. But would you say it is a good silk screen press to buy or would you say no? i heard that micro registration contact moves every so many prints if so would it be like after 100 prints?
I was printing on the riley 250 for years, run hundreds of shirts and never had an issue with the registration. Never had reg move mid print run either. The only negative is off contact, it’s a bit fiddly but more than adequate for running production. 10/10 solid press! Since then we have upgraded to the riley 300 8x6 which is a solid piece of kit as well.
@@squeezed_orange for sure thanks for the reply and info! i guess i will get my feet wet and buy a used black 250 6/4 i seen for a pretty good price with some extras as a first press....
Fuck that’s a nice machine sounds so clean
