Larry Boy And the Bad Apple (GBA) - Any% [TAS] [15:34]

This is a TAS I developed for the game Larry Boy and the Bad Apple for GBA. I am planning on speed-running the game and I wanted to learn more about the game's mechanics as well as seeing what a perfect run could be.
I certainly learned a lot. Credit to UndertakerofSouls and Morgan Hall who already did the majority of the routing for me.
Now comes the fun part of doing the run myself.

The final level of this game can be beaten in 12.5 seconds really easily. You barely even have to play. This is an incredibly easy 30 second shave.

(Spoiler for end of video) I love how the literal perfect way to beat the final boss is to do nothing
It's so interesting and I'm surprised that other people don't use it. I figured it on console as a kid, so it's not just an emulator thing. Although, you do have to move down before hitting the ball, but a tap is enough movement.

Nice run. I'm surprised QA didn't notice the ability to jump while already in the air as that allows a lot of shortcuts. Better for speedruns, I suppose!

I know just really annoying to smelt 125 doublechests with a missing 64 items per second distribution system without wasting an insane amount of charcoal xD
+Robitobi01 I had actually intended for the full size version to be just a proof of concept. If I was to build it myself, I would probably build only one side, only 16 furnaces long (making it only 64 furnaces, not 640 like in this version). It can work as this full version, but to keep up that many furnaces you need a pretty good wood farm and use it as a charcoal factory. I have a massive wood farm that I have been working on for the past year (though not so much in the past few months). When ilmango heard about my idea, he made this video: czcams.com/video/wGCW1X4L4Y8/video.html. I am still hoping mine is slightly better, but that might not happen. For your case, if you want the machine to be more efficient, you can just take out one of the redstone torches in the loading area near the comparator. This will bring it down to just one side. +Robitobi01 take a guess who else is on the server and built it entirely wyvert :P how wouldnt i do full size? xD apart from that the wood farm design i m working on atm(not activly i hate creative still xD) will be even faster anyways, also, mangos farm is entirely maxed out without a new layout and there s no good one atm :D
