Love your expressions! They convey the emotions very clearly without any words needed. The kindness/acceptance/gratitude shown in such a short animation is wonderful. Not sure if you are familiar with The Little Trashmaid webcomic, but I'm reminded of their character Tidy. Not just cause she is a mermaid, but they share innocent/naive enthusiasm.

That's a great little story and very cute.

OMG! Did anyone pay attention to the portraits on the wall? In one of them we see a mermaid hanging from the top of the ceiling in Heather's butcher shop/laboratory and Heather next to a probably dead mermaid that she is going to turn into sushi and probably say that it is 100% not a mermaid, but an exotic fish. To think that Delta almost became fish sushi. I'm liking this girl less and less, I swear she'd serve Delta at one of her late night parties for the nobles. It would be very funny if Heather called Delta fish sushi, and Delta asks why she calls her that, and Heather wants to say she's going to eat it with her rich friends at a party. That would be wild. I think Heather is hiding the fact that her skin care products have mermaid blood in them because they are protected and it would be illegal, and besides, who wants to put blood on their face? Heather, that's who, and she would get psycho cutie status. I wonder if Marisa would blackmail her into telling all about how she (Heather) fishes mermaids out of the bay and takes their blood to make skin care products. That would be the end for Heather, literally, because she would run out of money and without the formula she would die quickly.
