Noisy miners and a magpie foraging in the garden
Most of the birds were hunting for small insects to eat but one of them was drinking nectar from little purple flowers on a small flowering plant. They were very active, busy and constantly on the move and not keeping still for very long.

These birds were lucky to get a quick healthy snack to eat but one of the silver gulls was greedy and quickly ate most of what was left behind. All the others were only eating the very little food scraps that remained.

There were a few birds on the busy streets hungry for a quick snack including a few sparrows and a pigeon. But it was one of the greedy silver gulls that got to eat most of the food. This breakfast really didn't last for very long.

This bird was right next to the water at a park preening those feathers and then shortly afterwards, he wandered off on to the lawn. After that, wandered further on the green grass to disappear and go somewhere else.

There was this big bush in the garden and it was getting its flowers pollinated by a bird. It was being a very active and busy pollinator moving around from one branch to another on this amazing and beautiful flowering plant.

It was a wonderful and an unexpected surprise encounter to see these beautiful large parrots in the middle of the city up high in the tree branches. I don't get to observe these birds very often, so I was quite lucky to find them.

These birds were having their breakfast and enjoying their food right next to the big Public Purse on Bourke Street in Melbourne. There wasn't that much of a meal left over but there was still enough available for them to eat.

This bird caught and ate a nice flying insect near a lake at a park. It was a good snack that he was so lucky to catch and eat. He brought his food on the lawn so that he could break it up into bite sized pieces. He really seemed to enjoy eating it.

This hungry bird was lucky enough to get a quick snack to eat for breakfast and then she quickly disappeared somewhere near a lake. I tried to find her again but she was nowhere to be seen in the area. It was a nice brief encounter at a park.

There were a couple of sleepy birds near the Yarra River snoozing in the sun on a nice sunny day. They slept for a while but then shortly afterwards, they woke up from their sleep. They look rather cute with their heads tucked in those feathers.

There were quite a few birds being daredevils and risking their lives for food. It was a dangerous place for them to be in with cars driving past them but they didn't really care much about that. They just wanted to get something to eat and luckily, they got away unharmed.

These birds were having some fast food for breakfast and nibbling on a bit of meat off the bone. There wasn't much left over so they were quite lucky to get something to eat. But they got the opportunity to enjoy a meaty snack on the city streets.

The birds had so much food available to them and they had more than enough to eat. Someone was kind enough to leave all of this behind so they had quite a feast. It was good to see them have a nice filling meal so they didn't go hungry.

These birds were lucky to get a small amount of food on the busy city streets outside of a restaurant. There was a mixture of lettuce and cheese. The silver gulls chose not to eat the salad because they had no interest in having the healthy stuff.

There were quite a few of these large parrots perched up high on the tree branches and they were a long way from where I was. The birds stayed in the area for a little while but they soon left and disappeared.
