Kelly rowland is better than beyonce. my preference is kelly rowland over beyonce any day and beyonce is forced down our throats, beyonce is manufactured to be successful, i can clearly see it and that's the reason why i had no genuine interest in her. she's fame hunger and she's also part of the illuminati.

Whitney stated as a soul artist. And crossed over because over her undeniable talent and voice. So Clive wanted her to do more pop records. I remember the backlash at the black award shows. Bobby reinstated her black identity amongst us. She was living in between both worlds

Sold out but loosing so much money? Like did half the people that purchased returned the items? A PR brand if there ever was one.
It was time for Jenifer! She had already lost to American Idol. They had to give her this award and they wouldn’t dare give it to 2 BLK women in one night. What about the goat Eddie Murphy??!! This movie wouldn’t have made it without him. I think Beyonce did a beautiful job. She really carried the movie and the hype around it but maybe she should’ve gained weight and played Effie
Mo'Nique definitely got the Oscar curse.
They made it so beyonce wouldn’t Win because the story was supposed to be of Diana Ross but they geared it towards Eddie and gave her the light and Jennifer took that to the bank they focused on Effie’s struggles and painted her out to be this damsel in distress and how Curtis left her Deena stole her man the group turned its back on her and that’s what they wanted us to feel when in reality Effie brought the group down she always shitted on Deena saying she can’t sing like her or calling her a bird and saying the she herself is a real woman so tbh Effie got everything she deserved in dream girls but yea.. writing huh
Great analysis.
Omg this shit Is the mfn one 🎉🎉💍👗👏🏾😎🥰😛👅👅
beyoncé is not only a singer but a performer meaning she dances and hence must be physically fit to do so, we subconsciously know she works out but we never seen footage of her at the gym.. that’s why ivy park didn’t do too good .. she’s too mysterious.. she needs to show people she uses her products and that she vouches for them
Janet Jackson sold more album 's than Any other Female in History which past Both Madonna and Michael Jackson at the same time do your research!❤🎉 F-A-C-T-O-R!
Whitey Mariah Celine should have been at least a billionaire don't care if who ever disagrees
A lot of people tend to forget that sleeping was a box office failure it didn’t make as much money nor it had alot of success at the time like Snow White and Cinderella both films were highly successful and Cinderella was the highest grossing Disney film till the 90s.
Iman is the first black model to make over a million dollars.
Brandy is beautiful Cinderella and Helly the mermaid ❤
What about Chad or does he not exist in this movie? I mean, sure did he not have much in the movies yes, but he was still part of it.
You'll need to say American market is different than European market. YSL used alot of black models in his day.
Janet Jackson has Grammy Awards and Nominations in 5 music genres, POP, R&B, DANCE, HIP-HOP, and ROCK ( Her song Black Cat received a Grammy Nomination for Best Female Rock vocal performance) she wrote the lyrics and guitar riffs for the song. Janets Rhythm Nation Album was inducted into The National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress because of its socially conscious content. She also has had #1 albums in each of the last 4 decades. Janet is currently on The " Together Again " Tour in 2024 at 58 years old, which has been very successful with rave reviews by both fans and critics. In regard to Madonna, who is more of a prancer and using hand gestures than a true dancer. Janet is a phenomenal dancer , a Grammy nominated song writer, singer , television, and movie actress , spanning 51 years in entertainment. Most female artists have said in countless interviews that Janet was their inspiration to be in the industry .

Writers and Directors are the problem. Not the academy. The academy is a reflection of a poisonous industry.
She fights for blacks n yet u will see some black people criticizing and judging her every move..it’s a shame
Jennifer and Shakira are not light skinned. This term refers to black people and they are both WHITE.
24:03 You said that she’s Spanish meaning she isn’t latina. She’s european.
I feel like this album is apart of my DNA
Congrats 🎉 Jennifer Hudson! E.G.O.T. 🏆 🏆🏆🏆 WINNER
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
BEYONCÉ IS A MUSICAL GENIUS period !❤ SHE DON'T NEED ANY MUSIC VIDEO OR PROMOTION FOR HER MUSIC TO DOMINATE THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND I'M SO SORRY (i'm not) BUT Y'ALL FAVE COULD AND WOULD NEVER BE LIKE HER !...🎉 (but if she decide to give us the visual and more live performance we would bee so happy)😊😊😊
I buy a lot of things- her products never! She just doing anything now-
Effie White as a character provided Jen many opportunities to deliver an Oscar-worthy performance. Deena Jones is a boring character to begin with and quite frankly not even the true lead. It would hard even for seasoned actors to play Deena Jones and deserve an Oscar. If we compare the two characters to a gymnastics routine, Effie has a much higher artistry and difficulty while Deena is just for beginners. Even if you deliver the "Deena" routine perfectly, no judge is giving high scores because it's so damn basic. Beyoncé even gave a 3-minute performance where she broke character the whole time which the director clearly approved of because without doing it, Deena's character would be spiritless.
I guess this isn’t recent because Michelle Yoegh won
I realize this fact the moment I watch the music video shortly after it was released and I thought it was great to see people celebrating their triumphs rather than bitching about their situation as an underdog minority. in addition to this analysis notice how none of the people in the video are actually looking at the works of art until the very end of the music video when Jay Z and Beyonce Turn to look at the Mona Lisa.
💙🌹💙
This is a great and fair analysis. As mentioned in the video, my main issue with Beyoncé in this movie was that she definitely broke character with “Listen”. Apparently she just couldn’t resist the urge to try and make a show stopping moment of her own, which was of great detriment to the movie as a whole, as well as Deena Jones, and in turn, Beyonce. It made no sense and came out of nowhere! All of a sudden Deena is a powerhouse singer? As a character song, it makes most sense to be sung by Effie. As for the emotion of the song and the ability to convey that as an actress in character, you only have to look at the Oscars performance where Jennifer Hudson takes the first verse of the song. The song should have been hers. Beyoncé might have that best song Oscar if she put the integrity of the story ahead of her ego. Well kind of. I completely forgot that the academy determined she didn’t contribute enough to the song to get a statue, if it won. 😳 With that being said, the name Beyoncé helped get this film made so I give her credit for the obvious passion she had to make this movie happen. An attempt with Whitney as Deena was rumored decades ago. As legend has it, our Whitney demanded that she, as Deena, sing “And I Am Telling You.” 😂
*”Inclusivity” - show me the white person. Show me the man!!* 12:51 Inclusivity does not just mean overweight, disabled or black. It’s so frustrating.
Just give it up as a bad job Bey! You’re Beyonce. Thats all you need girl!
Bruno mars is often overlooked though. He doesn't get the praises he deserves though
Beyoncé is not an actress but a singer During the movie at first Jennifer was not the focus but was given the award for best accreess and a fantastic singer All the glory was to be for Beyoncé and all she did was add a song that did not belong in the original Dream Girls just to try to stand out and it did not work
