My favorite dyer is having a trunk show and I want to start the 4-shop-yarn shawl "crawl". Not sure if you have heard of it. But anyway, wasn't sure if you had plans, but would love to meet up with you if you have the time or inclination.

I just finished my Alectrona shawl, super gorgeous, but also gigantic. I think I will use it rather as a decoration piece than a shawl. It used up a lot of yarn.

It’s a pleasure to crochet and it’s super cute😊 your shawl is lovely and it looks large enough…if it were me, I’d break away from the pattern and use the last bit of yarn to do a nice finish. I play Pokémon and I’m almost 73 years old. I guess I’m a nerd too. Have a wonderful day. I like the mint green hat best. I’ve never made an amigurumi but I’m determined to make this year the time to make one. If I like it I’ll make more and if I don’t like doing them I can at least say I’ve tried them

I hope you win your game of yarn chicken.The shawl is beautiful. My favorite color hat is the mint green, only because I think that is the color that would look best on me. If I'm buying yarn to make myself something, I like to purchase it in person. I hold it up to my face and look in a mirror to see if it enhances my skin tone. I have found that purples & rusty orange drain the color from my face. They make me look sickly. I look good in almost any blue color.

I don't think I can pick a favorite color hat. They are all uniquely pretty, but the autumn colors one is quite pretty. I'm hoping to make a Meet with the Dean scarf soon. I love the black tweed one you made! I have been busy making a yarn scrap scarf in the meantime. It's always fun to see the things you make for your children. It's so great that they request things. I love that! 😊

I have never crocheted a shawl before, so I was looking for ideas and came across this video. I downloaded the Bruinen pattern to try. I am a bit confused because it ends after repeating rows 10-16 only once. It makes a very small shawl! Yours looks much longer. Can you help me out? Am I missing something?

Victory Belle is adorable! I agree with the flatter feet. Your “meet with the dean” scarf in the darker tone looks very elegant. Perfect for a night out. I love the sweater!! Super soft yarn for kid cuddles is just about the sweetest thing and I hope I can integrate that!! Don’t apologize for not making it a formal CAL.
