I'm naïve, and uneducated. Mostly. SiriusXM offers the Beatles channel and they play a fair amount of Lennon. Born in 67 and all I ever knew was they were far better than Elvis and many said you had to chose. Coming out of the alcohol and smoke induced fog has taken a decade but more and more and more I appreciate them and Lennon's solo work. Pure talent as a lyricist and awesome at putting melodies together. Cheers!

OMG the Japanese did these badly dubbed films so well, it’s what gave these films their charm. Along with the cartoons such as Astroboy, Prince Planet etc and live action such as Shintaro the samurai and Phanthom Agents the 50s and 60s were the peak. And who can forget Sharman.

What a beautiful lyric with wonderful music!

I am kind of surprised how many people bad mouth Joe’s Lennon vocals. Many say he has to much of an NY accent in his voice and doesn’t sound like Lennon. I am 58 and have listened to this LP since the early 80’s when I first purchased it. I think Joe kills it on Nowhere Man, Strawberry Fields Forever, All you need is Love and Revolution. His vocals really bring on Lennon. Seeing this was done in 1977/78, long before any other Beatles bands hit the tribute circuit. Yes there are better Lennon’s out there now, but for his time playing Lennon, Joe was pretty good at it.
