I've bought one myself and it is a great knife really. The sheath though scratches the bolsters with the inner part of the closing button. I had to polish then on my new knife and place a sticker on the inside of the sheath where the button is to avoid it contacting with the knife when getting it in and out. Disappointed by Buck not paying attention on this not so small problem.
I usually leave my s30v's behind because I never seem to have the time it takes to put a proper edge on them, but 2 min on a buck or swiss army knife and it's shaving sharp. Plus I think the clip point is just too thin for s30, I've come to expect losing the tips of my spydercos.
TURN THE WHOLE STRIMMER THE OTHER WAY UP.
When I try to tighten it just spins
HAHAHA, flip it upside down, dude!
Try a Strand blade. Much better.
Great video! Short and to-the-point. This was my first time installing a brush blade and with your video, it couldn't have been easier. Thank you sir.
If you turn the head upside down you can center and tighten the pieces much easier. Gravity is your friend.
Holy cow! that’s how you properly explain things,Bravo sir 👏👊
Thanks for the clear explanation and demonstration. How about something on the best way to file the chisel tooth blades? Stihl hasn't been much help.
Yep been a while since I used the brush blade. Needed a refresher so I do it right the first time.
Good video
You just save my project. I’m using a STIHL FSKM trimmer you help me figure out how to get all the fittings back in the right spot. Thank you.
Had it not been for this video I would have missed the store closing today and just been co fused as to why they sold me a defective blade. Thank you
Thank you for the refresher. It’s been so long since I put the brush blade on that I didn’t even know where to start. You are a lifesaver
