I am a huge sonics fan from seattle. We absolutely hated the lakers lol! I remember seeing kobe play against us his rookie year and I was beside myself seeing how much raw talent he had. I had just jumped back into collecting and started stashing kobe. Even my blind hate tword that franchise didn't stop me from admiring his skill's. His rookie cards will always give me nostagia and I sincerely appreciate your PC sir

Absolutely ridiculous Kobe collection! The fact you had some of those from the 1990's and graded them is all the better, I agree. I just graded my Kobe rookie PC earlier this year and I'm glad I finally did. That High Flying Soaring Stars must have a sneaky crease somewhere. Five is the highest I've ever seen an SGC card with a crease, maybe that's it? Great stuff!

Love seeing those 90's inserts, thanks for sharing the reveal. The last two Jordans are amazing, and I liked that Ultra Kobe and Golden Touch Iverson among many others. Very surprised to see those Hot Numbers 10's, wow... When Nat Turner and investors bought PSA in November 2020, everything changed. Nat and the new investors were so overwhelmed by April 2021, they had to stop Value, Regular and Express service levels entirely. Nobody anywhere talks about the connection there. But so many influencers were fresh into or freshly back to the hobby and possibly didn't even know PSA was bought out in November 2020. They took on more than they can handle, like so many investors do after takeovers, and I haven't seen any reliable grading from them since. Everything went downhill with grading consistency after Nat Turner, a collector himself, bought PSA. People think Nat being a collector is good, but I believe it's actually a total conflict of interest. I thought I heard he even has his collection listed in the PSA set registry. Makes you think a bit. I had to bail after they stopped being able to even correctly identify the cards I was sending them. I know quite a bit about cards but if I know more than the "experts" than I'm dealing with the wrong company, period. Now they only get the cards I can't grade anywhere else. Nice reveal, man. They got you on a couple, but you did well overall, I think. Beautiful cards either way!

Nice cards! I swear PSA gives lower grades when you submit in their specials. I recently dealt with the same thing. Regardless nice inserts 🤟

It took that long because PSA have crooks who work there and try all kinds of ways to steal your cards and replace them with lookalikes that you'll never notice. I always tell people to take detailed pictures of all the cards they send in so you can identify after single mm of the car.

I just got back into cards a month ago and just sent my first batch of cards ever to be graded to SGC and people talk about the value of PSA but I think SGC will be the top dog in the future because of their accuracy and take over the value of PSA

Awesome lot! There's a bunch of cards in there that are similar to what I used to collect/still do! Let me know if you're interested in selling any and I can put a small list together! Thanks for sharing too, I love hearing what the old prices are, I still have a nice hand-written list of cards I bought in the early 2000's from my LCS, until I started using Excel. It's fun to go back and see what changed, and how some were more expensive 20 years ago!

Ha wow. Kobe rubies and platinum medalions? Fantasyic stuff. Love the payton legacy too. I came across a Tim Hardaway '98 row 1 Legacy at a show not to long ago. Snapped it up for 35$ Canadian. I was pretty happy with that. Im very jealous of the Ryan rookie. I hope to add one in any condition to my collection one day. Good vid 👍

Your Jeter/Arod is trimmed, I can see that without a measuring device to it, that's why its not minsizerq, SGC doesn't care they want the money and market share, send it to TAG if you dare, see how it fairs...there is no good subjective grading company, not sure Tag is any better, but SGC is no better or worse than PSA, PSA has some real competition with AI grading now, they can only do so much. Lots o trimming going on around tthere....

Love this video man! I just received the most bogus grades on my 90’s basketball and football submissions with PSA and I’m cracking and sending almost all of them to SGC…this is absurd and should never happen when paying for a “professional” service. Thanks for addressing this problem.

Is PSA just putting minimum size just to push them through to try and catch up, but still make money?

I recently watched a psa return video. the gentleman pointed out some interesting grading flaws. He got a psa 10 to his Suprise. Stated he knew there were scratch marks on the card. Was hoping for an 8. Three other 10's were off center. My best guess is that psa has gotten too big. Graders need more training ? Off center and scratches no way 10.
