Well said, the combination of the HOM2 on the Supernote A5X allows me to write as small and neatly as on a fine-lined paper notepad, with the added bonus of cramming much more on each page of my A5X. As there wasn't one on my Supernote, I created then imported a tighter lined template, since then I haven't looked back.

Yeah being able to write that fine-pointed is definitely one of if not the biggest benefit of the Supernote for me!

Yeah I think you’re right about Goodnotes. I unfortunately learned that after making the video but thank you for helping more people to know that! For me, the ability to keep making folders in folders allows me to not really need specific notebooks, but I understand that for some people folders aren’t good enough. Thanks for sharing!

For tablet-only use cases I will say it is a very nice size to have! It doesn’t beat the 11” for me just because of how flexible the 11” iPad can be, but I did love using the iPad mini and I’m excited for a new version to come out hopefully soon!

Yes, that is very true! Although it does depend on what kind of artist you are as some work at a desk mostly and like the larger size

@@Graf-XTechReviews tell me about it. I decided to splurge on a 24” 4K display tablet to replace the 24” 2K display tablet - for 1/3 the cost of what it would have been to get an ipad that was spec’d out to meet my needs. 2K on a 24” just doesn’t cut it for me!

Yes it is a bit bias for sure, but the battery was fairly well taken care of. But of course it won’t be as good as a brand new battery, and if I had the ability to get one brand new for the test, I totally would. But the other reality is that a lot of people are looking at getting used ones and that would be very comparable to the test I made. But thanks for sharing I totally get what you mean!

I actually have a caliper, but it was out of battery and I didn’t have a replacement in time. I have somewhat limited times that I can film. I’m getting a scale so I can have that going forward. I do apologize if that particular section was not very helpful for you. Although, I believe you could clearly see which one was thinner without a caliper. Thank you for your suggestions, I totally get why that may be frustrating.

Here’s an idea, instead of sounding snarky, why not just politely suggest the use of a caliper or scale? I suggest the use of honey, not vinegar. Personally, I like the way he speaks to the camera as though you are his buddy and he’s showing you something cool at his desk. Great Job Graf-X Tech!

It is pretty solid yes. Unfortunately, it’s hard to know for sure if that will be enough for you, but I’ve used it a LOT for note taking and I press down a decent amount and it hasn’t budged. So as far as I can tell, yes it will do go even for that

As of right now I don’t have anything that can shoot in 8k ProRes, but I will see if I can get some stock footage or find a way to do that for you

Glad you found that video! But yes, not that many people talk about it. I completely agree though, this was a much bigger year for the 11” than the 13” in my opinion.

I don’t mind the somewhat quieter speakers. For everything I use it for, they are plenty, and I also use AirPods with them often. But yeah the bigger screen can definitely make video editing and photo editing easier, but it is definitely still doable with the 11” and I’ve had no problems with that.

I haven’t experienced that issue with Goodnotes in any of my use, but I would agree that Apple Notes has the most fluid and accurate writing experience

You can definitely view them on the iPad, but the best way is to send them over as pdf’s so it’s not as easy to edit them at least as far as I have found

No, it had no effect on the Nano-Texture screen. They aren’t as tough as regular glass, but it still held up well!

I personally don’t see a big loss of crispness, I think the only real downside is that it’s a bit easier to scratch, so if that’s a concern I wouldn’t do it, but otherwise I’d say it’s probably worth it!

@@Graf-XTechReviews I will be having it in the Apple keyboard folio and I’m buying AppleCare+ though I’m sure that would be considered accidental damage with having to pay a deductible. But do you think the glossy one won’t be scratched if exposed to the same factors that caused it?

The standard glass option had been shown to be a bit tougher, basically it is what we are used to as far as toughness on phones and tablets where the nano-texture is a bit weaker, and easier to scratch then what we’ve been used to. It’s not like it just scratches super easily either, I’ve had mine for over 2 months and no scratches yet!

While I completely understand not putting something really cheap on the expensive iPad. I would not call the Logitech case cheap. Not in the slightest. It’s still a $220-$260 price tag. I think that the Magic Keyboard probably is a bit higher quality, but not by much. But if you feel it’s not worth it, then totally go for the Magic Keyboard!

While smaller and older iPads are like toys or a gaming console, the iPad Pro is like the first IBM PC in the 1980’s, that your dad dedicated an entire room for and told you never to touch, and were oogling around with your friends like apes around the monolith 😅

They are actually both on the “more space” setting in display zoom, but yes that is definitely something you can do

For me, the size hasn’t been a big issue, but I also like the smaller, more portable form factor for many scenarios. There are definitely pluses and minuses, but overall I don’t mind it
