Did you have a space on the left size between the forks and the spacer? Pinch bolt side.
What brand tail tidy did you use on this bike?
It won't go any where becuase he shook it and said yeah that's not going anywhere
Your video is very helpful. I’m planning on doing this next week with my Yamaha XMAX scooter. It has a center stand and a kickstand , so I’m wondering if I should use the center stand for this. The main thing that I will have to do different than what you did in this video is I will have to put the loop (my straps have handlebar loops and S hooks on them) around the handlebar grips because there is a plastic body surrounding the rest of the handlebars.
Greeting´s from Slovakia🇸🇰. thanks!
Have you ever had these slip on the grips? I feel like it could be dangerous
Could you put in a link for the LED's please dude?
When your sleeve came into frame i thought i really found Wally or waldo for the yanks
When your sleeve came into frame i thought i really found Wally
Thats a thruxton for sure
I know it's safer than without but these are coming off my speed twin. Today. Thank you
The sticky adapter seems to be made from some sort of fabric. Looks nice, but how clean is it going to stay after work??? Terrible material to use!! I've noticed their phone cases are also some sort of fabric. Definetly the only reason I'm not purchasing. Make some rubber only ones please Peak Design
Bit late, hope your trip was good. I need to change the fork seals on my bandit 600. I purchased a scissor jack, a 3ton car jack and axle stands and a front headstock stand, nothing worked, so i purchased the red jack you have, but my one has through two prongs that sit under the frame because on a bandit 600 the exhaust is below the frame and its not good to lift using the exhaust as it can bend the exhaust in places and cause damage. My 1997 bandit 600 means a lot to me because i passed my bike test on it back in the uk 5 years ago and then when i moved to poland with my polish wife, i got it transported over and for the past 2 years ive been slowly replacing everything to make it good as new. I did loads already like new chain and sprockets and new brakes all round with SS lines. The only jobs i have left are the front forks (new seals, springs and oil) and the valves and carbs need rebuilding/clearances sorted. Sorry for rambling. Im excited to finally sort it. My advice to you, use a bungee cord around the handlebar and then hooked through a bolt hole in the caliper, putting stress on the lines is not good. This video is great to follow along. I have subbed. Greetings from Poland 😊
Why these aftermarket companies can make their products fit the factory is so annoying. Making you drill the screw hole all just for indicators? Should make them fit standard
NO kickstand...it inhibits the suspension from assisting with the load!
@@philtil8977 depends on how it's tied down, no? If it was strapped tightly to the floor I could understand. But I'm a box truck there was no other good way of ensuring that it stayed upright
Dude, thank you
Dang brother use kerosene and Aluminum britner dont use wire wheel
should i remove gas and oil before i put it in the truck?
Just ordered mine my shoulders are to wide for oem hopefully I get the clear vision
🤦🏻♂️
Throttle seems backwards
Its because its a cali bike
Tim you could’ve slid your handle bar tube out a little. You would of course had to adjust both sides.
Perfect. I have to do the same thing today.
I have halogen gets too hot melt a bit the headlights Can i change led straight away any, causing on engine lights? Thanks.
How confident were you that the woods wouldn’t fail
should we be lubricating our new levers during install?
Great instruction’s thanks buddy
How did you get the bike on the truck?
@timsgarage the links posted are no longer active. Do you have another comparable option?
Did you manage to find a link to these? If so, please share.
I found easier to to careful remove the dust boot, and fit in the lever pin,, and reinstall everything once
Thanks for not using the performance red underline to upbadge your car for no reason. It's so foolish that people do that, and everyone can still tell the difference. Lol 😂
Haven’t watch the video it’s the carburetor
this is the best video for the install! There is a ton of them on youtube, but this one is the most efficient. took 5 minutes, the majority of the time was searching for misplaced tape:-} Thanks a ton!
Thanks for the tutorial will be putting these pegs on today for my wife as well lol
Not a word about jetting?
Flipped stock bars?!?!
Hi Tim, picked up my MT10 SP 2 weeks ago😁Would you be able to let me know where you got your rad covers from? thanks, Michael
Halogen bulb to change a led, it is not illegál?
02:47 - Seems to shorten the video's time duration, he has completely skipped important step showing how you fished that guide wire to get to the wire down there. Also,, he has not shown any other steps just final result everytime he's done... bad video. 😒
Right he casually skips the trickiest and most important step.
How do you take out the emblems. Would it easily removed?
I think its ok for highways but not for dirt or gravel roads
Tim just found your channel love your content on your Thruxton I have one too. Currently getting an issue with my left mirror moving out of place when opening the bike up, as it’s a ball joint I’m unsure how to tighten it, any ideas?
THANKS! You'd have to dismantle it to tighten.
@@tims-garage do you know of any guides that show how to tighten it?
unfortunately, no. I haven't done that...
Years later and this video is still helping people! Sorry for your misfortune but thank you for recording this!
Clever idea. But you can't charge all these things simultaneously, only one at a time.
It doesn't come up the link
Hello, coud you please explain how to rotate rear brake upside down ? Thank you!
Motone Xcat delete. Thank me later.
Dummy
I try your method but I can't find where to fish the wire
Thats my exact question. I did this yesterday and I had to open up more panels to fish the wires through the side vents. Took me way longer but I did it. This is a incomplete/wrong video to follow. There are other vids that show you how to fish the wires. Use those.
