BROWN NOISE - "FOCUS & CONCENTRATION" with Dr. Andrew Huberman
Dr. Huberman mentioned listening to brown noise can boost your focus and concentration while you're working hard.
The idea is that brown noise helps sharpen the brain's filtering mechanism - its ability to tamp down distracting information and to sharpen what you're trying to pay attention to.
Brown noise is a deep sound with more of a bass tone and less of a hiss than white noise. Brown noise plays low-frequency sounds and omits high-frequency sounds like white noise, making it smoother and more manageable for some individuals.

WHITE NOISE - "FOCUS & CONCENTRATION" with Dr. Andrew Huberman
zhlédnutí 136Před dnem
Dr. Huberman mentioned listening to white noise can boost your focus, memory, and concentration while you're working hard. White noise is a type of sound that contains all frequencies within the range of human hearing (typically 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz) at equal intensity. This makes it similar to the concept of white light, which contains all the wavelengths of visible light at equal intensity.

This is ai generated. Be ware
wow this is awesome, thank you!
I would vomit if I had to deal with this woman every day
Love this ❤
This is what I've noticed the most from watching Asi. Especially during card selections. In contrast to Danny DaOrtiz who stated he always has a plan and never improvises, even though he makes it appear so. Yet they appear to share some similarities in methods.
How much salt in a cup of water?
Diffused and also confused my 7 and 5 year olds like what the hell are you on dad? 😂 They aren’t used to me talking to them like that.
Unfortunately the test he’s doing has too much variability and therefore not a reliable measure. Also note, despite his well-meaning ways to offer free advice, he is not a practitioner. He’s a scientist who speaks from reading papers. If you really want to change your breathing for your life, be cautious of “free” information…..it often is well-meaning but incredibly misguided. Seek good guidance from someone who has worked with lots of people in their lane of experience…..not this guy.
I was high end.. clean and sober 34 years.. been concerned with health and fitness all this time. 65 .. still running hills and training muay thai outdoors 95 degrees.. Not too worried about my breathing.. Thanks for the explanation..
Give them a choice: Hey would you like to turn it off or would you like me to?
Sometimes works. Not always
Awesome 👊 Thanks ✌
Is it even possible to split breathing in 4 equal timed phases? And what's the use of that? Feels very unatural.
Can you explain more on that paper and yhe sessions of 25 minutes for 9th graders.
This was very helpful for me. Thank you!
❤
Great content
Replicating the information from the scratch , as if you are teaching a class without looking at your notes.
The big 6... As in his girlfriends 🤣😂🤣
he is the best. I don’t care what the New York magazine says.
Takes me 20m just to close my eyes 😅
Damn Kramer was speaking facts. All these years later.
Love my nana nap. It's gorgeous.
Stop taking naps - Take walks.
Ain’t no way people actually take naps and wake up after an hour. I wake up and midnight sweaty asf
I do the same with my high school students. I just say nothing when they are rude to me because I don't want to give them the power to have control over my emotions. When they are calm, then I talk about it.
lol that dude is wearing one of those female hair thingies
Sign of a confident man
@@FutureAbe really lmao, let me guess, you probably think stubbing your toe and crying like an infant is showing you can express emotions, wearing female hair trinkets is conceding not exhibiting confidence.
Naps are good if they add to your regular sleep. They are bad, or at best neutral, if they just move your regular sleep around.
He was on joe rogan
Haircuts are good too
That's true, overnap is bad...less nap also bad
What about prenaps
What about when they're cussing?
I hope he stops with the plastic surgery. He’s gonna end up looking like Mickey Rourke soon 😢
Bruh wtf happened to Dr. Matthew Walker??????
What is the scoop on CBD and THC as a sleep aid?
Bro is a alcoholic
Who tf are you talking to? This is weird af..
This is a clip of an interview on the Huberman Lab podcast. He's talking to Dr. Andrew Huberman. I'm guessing this clip was edited so you can just get the big takeaway without the nuances of the interview.
Thanks headband guy...
I'm not sure if you misgendered.
30 years of sleeping drunk and it wasn't until I cut back that I couldn't sleep or get meaningful rest. Alcohol is a perfectly good sleep aid.
Wow. That was funny.
What
I trust his advice. He's wearing a vest.
Good info
It’s just poison no need to fuss about it
Saw bones is right im sure. However,... some booze is just a lot cheaper and easier on my liver than thier meds are
Good luck with that dips--, see how your life turns out
Liz josephberg's copy cat..she said NHMESS N-Nutrition H-Hydration M-Movement E-Exercise S-Stress management S-Sleep 😅😅😅It's for overall health
What is the sixth one?
Stress control
It's simple solution...but...it's hard to do it
Living.... is bad for your health
Thanks for the 6 points. These are in plain sight but we never see them
