Peugeot 508 rear shelf board replacement.

I had to do a replacement of my 2013 Peugeot 508 rear shelf board. It’s been broken for a while and the rattling has been an annoyance to say the least. Finally found the full set at a good price and some time to get it installed. I hope the video helps some of you out there who have been wanting to do the same.
BMW R1200GS motor starter replacement.
zhlédnutí 19KPřed 2 lety
2008 BMW R1200GS motor starter replacement. The starter was giving intermittent problems. I purchased an aftermarket starter from Carpi Moto (www.carpimoto.com/en-US/). They carry WAI products. Installations was quite straight forward and the result has been good! Hope this helps others with similar issues. It’s specific on the BMW R1200GS but it should be similar to other bikes as well.

2013 Peugeot 508 window regulator replacement - time lapse video

My driver side window dropped due to the cables getting entangled. Main problem was damaged plastic clasp. The OEM parts is a complete set with the motor and is about 470 USD. The required replacements are only the 2 cables plastic support and cable roller gear. Able to purchase online for less than 35 USD. Little bit of elbow grease and can get the window working again. I didn’t intend to make...

I would say its jsut a new batterie needed?! Dont know... my 1200gs had same problem, was jsut an old batterie...
Hi Sebastian, that was my first step as well - I thought it was the battery but it did not resolve the problem. The starter was the next step.
everytime these stupid music.
We have to make do for a free to use music.😁
I changed it the same way. but the glass remains 1 finger up at the lowest position. Also, when I want to close it automatically, it lowers the window as if something is stuck. I had to calibrate. But since the window was not closed, I could not calibrate it. What should I do? Can you help me?
I had a similar issue. You should put the window in fully up position (it will drop - so use a tape to secure it in up position). once you make teh replacement, it should work correctly.
How ı can remove to yellow area? Thanks
Sorry for the late reply. You just need to pry it open it's a push lock (use a plastic lever tool to avoid damages)
thank you for your video. this motning I fixed my r1200gs 2004 starter ... you save me... thank ~
Glad to be of service! You are most welcome.
What did you spray inside the hole?

How is the wai starter motor still lasting ?
So far so good. I haven’t had any issues with the motor till now.
Hello, I watched your video, very cool. I have a question, Do you know the way to replace the front turn light in the 310 GS?? Thanks in advance
Hi Rodrigo. Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately I don’t have a 310 to work on! However, do check out czcams.com/video/79TjdH3orDc/video.html. Matt might be able to help you.
Thank you sir helped alot
Glad it was useful to you.
Hello. I found a Wai Motor on ebay un the UK and its marketed as heavy duty. Would you expect it to make a bigger drain on the battery each time it starts as its heavy duty or not? Thankyou.
It is heavy duty and requires higher battery strength. My previous battery weak battery could not turn the motor. Having said this, my new battery has no significant battery drain with this new motor compared to my previous motor/battery.

My motorcycle when it heats up will have the same condition as yours, but when it cools down, it will start normally, can you tell me its condition???
I had the same problem, is a starter problem!! I am in process to change it, I hope the problem finish
sorry for the late reply! Try checking on your battery - a slightly weak battery can create this problem as well.
Hello Guy, to do what you did, do you have to remove the muffler ?
It is not necessary to remove the muffler. However, it is easier to manage if you remove the muffler because the new starter is longer.
I had to remove the exhaust servo box, but not the muffler. Invest in a flexible socket extension for the inner/lower starter bolt. I used a u-joint adapter and it was very wobbly.
0:55 how to remove the ones u marked red?
@4:00 I show how to put the piece back in. Here I point out the position of the clips. When opening it, you just need to carefully pull out the piece by hand. No screws or bolts just clips that lock into place.
That's exactly i don't understand, pull out by force?
Sir, do you mind showing how to "Remove" the side cushion?
@@paulyi729 yes, you need to use force but be careful as you might break the plastic clip on the cushion.
Hello It's so easy when i did it with your tuto. Thank you very much. But i've a question : Ilt's not dangerous without the plastic cover? It's possible to modify it?
Glad that the video was of help to you. The plastic cover is basically to protect from dust I believe. I don't think it's particularly dangerous with the new aftermarket unit, without the cover. It is possible to modify the cover but it doesn't really have a good fit.
I believe the old starter only needed a good clean and lube at the business end of it and will work quite well. Good clip regardless.
Probably. The original starter is quite a sturdy part. Thanks.

Ini macam no need to go AB. Buy parts go your house sir. Good job sir😃
Amazing work done
You make it look so easy. Great job..👏
Can you share who you got the upgrade lighting from?
I got it a few years ago from a company called Razir. I don’t think they exist anymore. You can find many HID/LED upgrade bulbs with a quick search on google. Just ensure that there is enough cooling power.
I bought this decal just 2 days ago on aliexpress, it will help me when I need to apply it ....👍👍 😁😁😁
Hope it turns out well. The curves/bends are a little tricky but it’s generally easy to apply. Good luck!
Nice video, you had to put some resistors or you had to update the ECU, thank you
Thank you. For the front signal lights. I did not have to use any resistors or update the ECU. However I did have to add resistors for the rear signal lights. Will upload the video on that soon.
