The Doobie Brothers put on a great show at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY tonight. Hard to believe they’ve been at it for 50 years!

Ace Frehley’s guitar solo during “Shock Me” at The Strand Theatre in Hudson Falls, NY. He plays some riffs from some classic tunes from other bands, as well as some of his signature licks that we all love. Normally I would never record a video in portrait mode (nor should you), but I was literally 5 or 6 feet from Ace and couldn’t get him fully onscreen using landscape.

My son Max wrote and recorded this Halloween song the other day, and we figured there should be a video, too, so here you go. It’s a hit, if you ask me! That’s him as the dancing werewolf. Check out his SoundCloud channel, The Blood Hammer, for all kinds of awesome stuff, including lots of great guitar playing, many cool originals and covers, with all vocals and instruments done by him.

KISS returns to the stage after an almost 2-year absence. The End of the Road Tour resumed tonight in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

The Strand Theatre in Hudson Falls, NY put together a little show made up of parents playing with their kids. My son, Max, is 15 and has been playing guitar for about a year and a half. He picked “Crazy Train” by Ozzy, and “Muffin Man” by Frank Zappa to play guitar on. I played bass for him, and Jonathan Newell played drums on this one. Anyway, here’s Max doing some Zappa.
