My first animation assignment on 3D Movie Production at Noroff. This one was less about technicality and more about how our current animation workflow is, before we will start to improve it. :P Animated in 3Ds Max 2010 with biped, that I do not love. Simple render with Mental Ray.

The first obligatory 3D project was about recreating a photograph as realistically as possible. I put together a little video of the progress pictures from start to finish. Made in Autodesk 3Ds Max 2009, rendered with Mental Ray 3.6 Hope you like it =)

The 2nd obligatory project was a group project. My group of me and Vedat decided to make a spaceship that flew really fast through some Sci-Fi environments. Everything was made with Autodesk 3Ds Max 2009 and rendered with the scanline render. Hope you like it! =)

This is the forth 3d design & animation project I just completed at Noroff insituttet in Oslo, Norway. The short film was meant to be 30 seconds longer but I ran out of time so you get a cliffhanger ending instead. 5 weeks of work. Done with 3Ds Max 2009, and regrettably the biped for the character rig (should have used bones). Rendered in VRay SP2 1.5
Distant Nebula - Speed Painting

(( Watch in HD quality! )) A quick drawing I did of a planet in a nebula cloud in outer space. A celestial event is going on here. It took about 2 and a half hour to draw this. Made in Corel Painter X, everything in one layer. Majority of everything painted is done with a custom (adjusted all the time) RealBristle Blender Round brush. This is just a test I did with recording timelapse videos of me drawing. Later I will be recording me doing a huge drawing hopefully! I didn't finnish this drawing, but it took approximately 1 hour to draw, the first 15-20 min in real time I had no idea what it was gonna be. :P Painted with Corel Painter X Recorded with Camtastia Studio 5 (timelapse setting) Edited and saved with Adobe Premiere...

I have found out that there is two versions of Perfect Day, there is no difference in the lyric or anything. But it's a difference in sound and instruments. And this one sounds so much better! What I find sad is that this version is almost impossible to find! Video Audio: 128 KBPS - 44KHZ - STEREO

My grandparents lived up north quite near to Beatrix Potters house, and we would travel all the way up from Kent to see them every summer. Long summer days that seemed to go on forever. I used to love watching all the Beatrix Potter films as a little girl, and hearing this music brings it all back. I miss those days, and I miss my grandparents and also my dad so much!

I remember watching the Beatrix Potter series with my beloved Nana (RIP) as a kid in the early 90s. Sometimes we would pretend to be the characters and she would dress me up as the hedgehog Mrs. Tiggywinkle. These were some of my fondest earliest memories. The series was outstanding.

I'm 27, this song takes me right back to being a kid having fun with my mom. We would drop my older brother off at school and then we would stop and mom would get me a sprinkle donut and a strawberry milk, we would go home and watch peter rabbit together. With that being said, Mr. Jackson always creeped me out! Tiddly widdly widdly!

Earlier this exact year, I lost my beloved grandmother due to poor health conditions. Even though it was inevitable, her passing left a deep scar in my heart, and the same could be said for everyone else who knew her. Before her passing, she showed a huge appreciation for those old Peter Rabbit animated shorts, I never quite understood why until very recently. Listening to this just brings back memories of my time with her, every time we went camping, every time she took me and my brother out to swim, and every time I came over to see her. I miss you grandma...but I promise...we will see each other again...in the next life.

I remember as a child sitting on the porch with my grandmother on a cool summer's morning watching the blues skies and clouds go by. The birds were singing their songs and the gentle voice of my grandmother talking to me. It was a perfect day.

My grandma died for cancer near last cristmash. After her death my mom told me she didnt care for music mutch but when this song was in some kids show me and my sister watched at that time as young kids she told then to my mom that she loves this song. For me, the second saturday she was alive but in pain she told her sister when they were having a walk, that: this has been a perfect day. And i believe it was. Rip Virpi❤️
