There needs to be a compelling, truthful and realistic vision of Independence of what Scotland can be, how to get there and it MUST be agreed by the electorate. Independence now would make Scotland a 4th world country with rampant inflation, a crash in housing and land prices, total skills drain, loss of all inwards investment, leaving it open to 'carpetbagger' chancers from other countries to 'cherry pick' any remaining prime assets now that wind power, oil, whisky and many large estates are now owned by *foreign* entities.

All parties have arguments and disagreements, especially the big two because there such broad churches. The difference between Labour and the Conservatives is that the Labour front bench is united and the Conservatives are holding daggers under the table ready to plunge them into Rishi's back. The Labour problems are as always the loony lefties, few in number but they voice is amplified by the press.

Don't know where to start with your video. Lets start with the Labour 1997. Easiest one to tackle. Things didn't get better? The UK economy doubled in size over Labour tenure. NHS waiting lists fell. Wages increased, as did funding in public services. The downsides were the Iraq war which was a blatant lie and a world-wide banking crisis which started in the US, and plunged the world in to recession including the UK. The UK was especially vulnerable to this due to our large financial sector. There were bad moments in the 13 years of Labour, but at the end the economy was growing again and that growth was snuffed out by the Con-Dem's austerity drive. Which the country has never recovered from. After 14 years of mainly Conservative rule, with the assistance of the Lib-Dem coalition government for the first 5 years. The economy hasn't grown. The actual wealth per capita is down. The national debt has trebled, the NHS is on its back , and public services have been striped to the bone. The criminal justice system is broken, and were are lead by the worst government in history. Rishi Sunak is weak and hopeless in political terms. He also has the charisma of a mouldy dead rat. Starmer also, has a lack of charisma. As in he has the charisma of a mouldy cabbage. However, the flip-flopping as you say is due to the fact that you can only work with the economy you'll inherit. This time there really is no money left, so yes, he made commitments a couple of years ago, which would be impossible to do now. Labour is in opposition to government and as a result can only react to what the government has done. Yes, I would like there to be bold policies, but that's not where we are at. All politicians lie, it does with the territory, but Starmer hasn't not lied anywhere as much as the Conservatives.
