I am 75. I haven't cruised in probably forty years. Two weeks before my birthday, this past May, I decided to take a cruise. I called Vacations to Go, and they offered me a cruise out of Brooklyn for me as a solo for 7 days at $610. I didn't buy a drink package so that saved me some money. I had booked an inside cabin, but it was on something called guaranteed booking. So a couple days before departure, I was notified that I was upgraded to a balcony for free. I had an absolutely wonderful time. It was very restful and I met the people in the cabin next to me and across from me, some other people on the ship, and even though I was traveling solo, if I didn't want to be alone I didn't have to be. The food was fine for me.Just kind of okay. I was a bit disappointed that there was only the buffet and the dining room for free options and everything else with specialty dining But again that was really fine. I loved my cabin and the the cabin steward. He cleaned my cabin twice a day even though sometimes I would tell him, you really don't have to do that. He was such a sweet guy, and he was always trying to make sure everybody that he was taking care of up and down our deck was happy with our accommodations. Overall, I would definitely go on MSC again.

They are cheap cause they are horrible, will never cruise them again. Horrible experience

Good afternoon from Korat Thailand As a seasoned international traveller, i can tell you from experience, The feelings of anxiety , being rushed or inconvienced , generally are self bought on Or self- induced by the dialogue in our minds, began days before arriving at the airport , I've never had an interest or saw the benefit of TSA pre-check , But I have looked into it back in 2012 the early yrs of its inception , because of Post September 11 , 2001 tragedy causing airline boardings bogged down lines . The reason for my lack of TSA Prescreen interest, i guess its because i've learned never to be in a hurry , I learned to set it up to slow stroll. not feel the need to hurry up to get on the plane , and hurry to my final destination . My being Originally from NYC use to Travelling out of JFK or occassionally Newark international Before retiring here in Thailand 2014 , i can say from experiences it was mostly During the Winter months , whether Travelling to Asia or Europe the TSA yrs and prior The Long security lines were the norm " Especially when folks are wearing all that extra warm cloths and carrying more devices ,getting through security is a little more time consuming regardless to having TSA pre-flight screening clearance although I don't travel within the U.S.A domestically anymore . My best advice to anyone who cares , (1) First Pack plenty of Patience a couple of day in advance of the trip Don't create that anxious dialogue in your head pre-trip (2) Leave an hour or 2 extra earlier than normal Boarding time and **** Lastly and more importantly i'm a praying man , I pray the night before my Flight , The day of the flight , and Onboard seated in the aircraft before take off , Then the Give Thanks Prayer upon touch down destination this works for me .

MSC CRUISE IS AMAZING! Complainers are those that can’t cook an egg and fast food eaters and all they do is complain. They should not be allowed on the MSC. No one wants complainers and the miserables screwing up their day. Complainers, STAY HOME! Keep your no class butts on the bus!

I had the food on the divina years ago and it was fantastic. Seriously, people that complain I don’t get. They can’t over salt or a lot of people bloat and get sick. So use the salt and pepper shaker. Gee, I can think of worse things…like really!

I will be going on MSC for the first time on this Sunday, sailing on the Seashore as well. At little nervous because I’ve only sailed with Carnival in the past.

MSC cruise line was amazing . The ship was beautiful and the staff were the best. The only thing is i wisj the private island had more to do l, but i understand they are going for a more natural approach unlike royal Caribbean or Disney

I only go on one Cruise; 70,000 Tons Of Metal. It is in late January to Early February. The weather was great, the entire time.

On Celebrity we don’t need a drink package because they have free water, juice, coffee, and tea in the buffet and that is all we need. We will pay for the occasional cocktail or specialty coffee if we want one. Does MSC offer free beverages in the buffet or is it necessary to purchase at least a basic drink package?
