Why does anyone ever make a video and think let me put this audio bit over it?

Simple process ! I know they’re designed to “ shift on the fly “ , but I always stop the vehicle, put it in neutral and then shift into the 4WD modes high or low . Just how I grew up back in the day with the good ol lockout hubs … certainly can’t hurt anything doing it that way . After shifting out of 4WD back into 2WD it’s always a good idea to drive in reverse for about 10 ft and then go forward , this will positively disengage the hubs .

I have a manual, so I always put in neutral. I only shift to 4x4 when the vehicle is stopped, never while moving.
