There is a parade lap right before the race. While it helps get the lay of the land, I ride it pretty slow to save energy.

@@Sharkaru02 surgery went good. I’ll be ready to race next season. They got me in quick. Had two tares and had to reattach bicep tendon also. Might be off work for about 8 weeks. Then see you at Eddieville opener. Lol. Be careful.

I'm still waiting for the final SSB results to be posted. They initially had my SSB times in SSA but I brought it to their attention prior to the end of the protest period. They said they'll fix it.

Hi Karl, I am getting back to riding again after wrist surgery and am wondering how well the steering stabilizer is working, does it help, I am a also looking at the flex bars as well, any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks for the video looked a little slick out there
The stabilizer helps most with the unexpected impacts that happen probably more often than I realize. It damps all of those quick jarring hits on rocks, or bad landings that would normally jerk the bars to one side and lead to a crash. I say to myself all the time how I can't believe I didn't crash on "that one" or the "other one" or the "other one". :) I'm a Scotts Steering Damper fan www.scottsonline.com/ShopYourBike.php.

The 1st lap dust was horrific. Luckily there was less dust in later laps which not only made breathing better but you could also see where you were going. I was coughing up muddy lung butter for days after this race.
