One of my life goals has been to set a sub 1 minute lap at Knockhill on my R6. Today I smashed that goal and set a 59.00 second lap!! Roll on the 58's!

I was in this group... My mate had the bad crash before lunch... He was taken to Ninewells Dundee for operation, broke ribs at spine and 4 of his sternum right side. His throttle stuck open into Clarks, a filter locating tab got sucked into the throttle body, say 25% open.. Front locked, went down hard. Not his fault.
Thanks for the update on your mate, hope he's well on the mend. The red flag for that his incident went out as I passed the start line, and the marshal was already tending to him by the time I passed the scene. Good to see the prompt actions from the Knockhill staff and I hope he fully recovers and can get out on track again soon.
@Meekusmaximus - from looking at footage from the various track days we've both been at, you spend quite a bit of time being held up behind me because my bike's faster on the straights. Sorry about that - I'm usually oblivious that I'm getting in your way - and thank you for being so safe and patient where others might have let their frustration egg them on to go for an (overly) ambitious move! On the bright side, at least there's lots of footage of you doing some great riding!👍👏 I'm on the blue and white GSXR1000 @ 05:00 BTW 😁
Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and for the comments. It makes me happy when I can keep you guys on the litre bikes honest over a lap, and I didn't feel as though I was being held up at any point. Looks like you had a great day last week too and thanks for putting the good camera on the back! No doubt we'll see each other on track some time soon!
