The song had been recorded it just like many didn't make the original The Miracle Album, it's on the new version along with various versions of this and others Queen have posted the album on their official CZcams channel

The first time I heard Face it alone l loved it, just nice to hear Freddie's voice again. I along with quite a few others , including Brain think it could be the sound track to a James Bond movie. Interesting to see the Freddie Mercury auction Freddie was quite the collector 😅

I hope you have all heard of the auction at Southerbys London of Freddie's art, clothes, furniture and other collectibles from Garden Lodge. I am thinking of registering to bid and am now identifying as a millionaire !

You can't Auto tune Freddie. Why put this out as possibly the final new Queen with Freddie and John , it' doesn't fit Queen standards .

This is the absolute worst Queen song ever , it sounds like a Geritol commercial , it absolutely should have been given the FULL QUEEN PRODUCTION ! Queen has been my favorite band since 74 , Queen is my Religion and Brian is my God , but this song is an embarrassment and Brian's solo sounds unfinished, it just stops , I could hear it carrying on longer in my head .

Hi Darc, saw this show up and decided to save watching it for later so I could enjoy it. Haven’t listened to this since it first came out, it’s very simple and Freddie’s vocals are hauntingly beautiful. To mix things up, how about reacting to a whole concert? Obviously, not all at one time, but break it up into 3 or 4 reactions.

I remember when I first heard this song the first time it gave me the goosebumps and also made me teary eyed. Because it gave me a thought about how lonely for a person to struggle knowing that they will die eventually and there is nothing you can do but to face it all alone.

I absolutely loved having a new Queen song released albeit a somewhat unfinished song--to hear something new in Freddie's voice was wonderful. A very somber song no doubt inspired by his circumstances and I prefer the video that you showed--it seems to suit the song better than the "official" video. Thank you for letting us know about Amy and Virgin Rock--that channel has been a great discovery!

I liked the set up for this video and the reading of the comments at the end. I know leaving Father and Son off was harsh but I was trying to really get it down to 50. Question, do you like that song because of the studio version or because of how they played it live? For me I thought the studio version was good but what made me fall in love with it is the live version at the Rainbow. Same with White Queen. So much better live. I feel the same way about the Prophet Song as you do. It's just a little to long in the middle. Thats why that song took awhile to grow on me. I originally would get a little bored. Radio Ga Ga I always thought rambled on at the end a little to long with all the synth stuff. Love the live versions better.

They have something for every emotion, feeling, mood or feeling that is not able to express. I have never listened to a band that was able to do every genre to perfection. Of course this is all my opinion, but Queen was my first concert and set the bar standard so high no one has ever matched.

Darc! I clicked on so fast when I saw a new video from you! Lisa here👋So happy you're back. I have been enjoying the classical reactions like you have. I agree she needs to listen to more than the singles. Especially because Queen II was a masterpiece. Especially side black. She should also watch live Queen (we all know which ones)to see the live interpretation. I have always loved Brighton Rock because Freddie's vocals (Jimmy and Jenny)with his falsetto are fantastic and Brian's solo is great without going on too long. Now I'm Here is another favourite. I believe Brian's songs are better live songs. I agree with you on Dragon Attack. I'm afraid they played Another One Bites the Dust to death on radio when it came out(lol). I'm glad we grew up in a time where we had albums to listen to from start to finish. I will never forget playing a new album and reading the lyrics and liner notes as you listened. Can't wait to hear your take on Night At the Opera. I'm looking forward to seeing you soon!

Yes, Amy is quite the music critique/critic... she reminds me of the aspirations of the perfect music teacher I never had... after playing clarinet for nine years in school, I ultimately chose working and smoking, not any of my better choices in life...
