Got few two questions about this closer. 1) what if the latching action has no tension at all? Is there a way to adjust it? 2) the bolt/screw next to the sprint by right by the end, does that bolt actually do anything? Thank you so much if you can answer my questions.

Is there a way to adjust the resistance when you try to open the door? Also does the cap on the end of the unit with the two holes open or do anything?
Do not fit that plastic washer on the arm.
