The rules were strict, and the head physician was especially zealous in relation to patients who had not yet been operated on - movements around the department at night were prohibited and those who disobeyed were instantly deprived of their pants and underpants. On the same day, Seryoga was admitted to an old drunk whose condition was best characterized by the physical term _body_. The old drunkard was immediately operated on and brought to the department, where Seryoga waited his turn. The day was ending, the sick were leaving. To bed, of course. Already in the morning, Seryoga’s sister wakes him up and, crying, asks for help, the old alkanaut came to his senses, rushed to his post, despite his freshly stitched belly, and, threatening the honor and dignity of the medical staff, demanded alcohol. Well, how can you not help your young sister? Seryoga went out into the corridor, silently crept up behind a man who was rummaging through a cabinet with drugs and, fortunately he was an athlete, grabbed the marauder in a clamp. Swaddling a man with bandages was already a matter of technique - together with his sister, having tied the lover of free booze to a stretcher in the shape of the letter X and rolled him back on the gurney to the starting point, Seryoga came face to face with the head doctor. After 20 minutes of lively discussion with her, Serge found himself in his bed, bitterly complaining about human ingratitude. Without pants. And underpants. The day passed in agony, understandable only to heavy smokers. The suffering was aggravated by the need to defecate in a night vase, 15 centimeters high and with a capacity of 5 liters, which for a man under 2 meters is fraught with real difficulties. But now the day is over. The drunk was injected with sleeping pills in elephant doses for the night, and Seryoga, wrapped in a sheet, finally made it to the toilet, where he indulged in modest human joys. Night fell over the department... At three o'clock in the morning his sister woke him up again. It turns out that the old drunkard’s body, trained by alcohol, overcame the effect of the sleeping pills and again pushed its owner to search for the treasured potion. The first thing Seryoga did was to demand the return of his pants in an ultimatum, and got out of bed no sooner than he received guarantees that his pants would be returned to him as soon as his sister-hostess arrived. Having constructed an improvised toga from a sheet and given orders to his sister regarding means of immobilization, my acquaintance hastened to defend law and order. However, the old drunkard was on guard and, seeing superior enemy forces approaching, left his post, which bore obvious signs of defeat, and took to his heels. But in vain - retribution in the person of a young man in Roman garb and a sister, following in the wake at a safe distance, was approaching inevitably, like the crisis of world imperialism. In the illuminated corridor, the pursued man had no chance. Correctly assessing his capabilities, the old drunkard dived into the nearest ward and tried to hide under the bed, but Serge’s steel hand, catching him by the hoof, dragged him back into the corridor. In a last-ditch effort, the old fox grabbed the foot of the bed with both hands and began to shower the attacker with selective invective, to which he received an adequate response in the form of a kick and several terms of profanity. Suddenly this sweet conversation was interrupted by a wild, polyphonic squeal, and our hero, having become deaf in both ears at once, realized that in the midst of the chase they had run into the women’s ward. The ladies, apparently deciding that they were attacked by maniacs or hunters for donor organs, wished to attract public attention in this way. The nurse arrived in time and turned on the light and an unforgettable picture appeared to the sleepy eyes of the squealing women: a bare ass sticking out from under the bed, male genitals and two legs, into which the ancient god had a death grip, whose open toga only emphasized the magnificent tools with which nature had endowed him. From the outside, the scene vaguely resembled the plot of the Grandfather and the Turnip. Either the ladies, seeing that the men were absorbed in each other, calmed down, realizing that they were not in danger, or they were simply taken aback by what they saw, or the appearance of their sister had a calming effect on them, it is unknown, but the squealing immediately died down. Sergei tried to quickly retreat, for which he jerked his legs with incredible force and tore the drunk off the bed, knocking it over in the process. A girl who had been operated on the day before was resting peacefully on the bed. Even the squeals of her neighbors did not interrupt her sound sleep, caused by anesthesia. But hitting the floor was too much. Opening her eyes, she saw two half-naked unshaven men in a position known among athletes as a wheelbarrow. She probably imagined that she was in hell, and the devils had come for her. The inhuman scream that rang out paralyzed the will of the old fan of Bacchus, whom Seryoga dragged into the corridor by his legs, where he fixed him on a fitted gurney. The procedure was silently observed by walking patients who came out of the wards, apparently with the goal of creating the last line, giving battle and preventing the enemy from reaching their bedridden brothers.

They say this was a real-life incident. One guy served in a military unit. He was standing on duty when he had to go to the toilet. Well, he went to the toilet and took the machine gun with him, he couldn’t leave it like that. There, while he was either buttoning or unfastening, he made an awkward movement and dropped the machine gun in his ass. What to do?
