DIY Dollar Tree Money Cake

My daughter recently graduated and I decided to give her a present. I had previously made a money cake to a close family member and was asked how I made it, so I decided to record myself and show everyone how easy it is. Hope you guys like it and I hope this is helpful. Styrofoam circles were 5" 4" and 3". I used exactly 100 dollar bills

I went to Michels and they only had 2 sizes 1.25in x 5.8 in and the other size was 2 in x 7.9 in

Why did put the over head we dont see what yr doin think out yr a flat project. Put in of orsomething was fail😢
DO NOT use tape or double stick tape. Use removeable glue dots instead. Tape will rip the money or leave a residue on it and the banks do not like it.

I just did this for my niece using a silver glitter box from Dollar Tree. I added some graduation accents on the outside of the box. I also filled the inside with the black and silver graduation hearts from the dollar tree so when she opens it it will spill out. Finally, I made a graduation cap and diploma from dollar bills (from another video) and added them with some festive silver ribbons to the top of the lid. Thank you for this tutorial! I know she’s gonna love it! ❤

I iron the money before hand but you can ask your bank if they have new dollar bills also.

Sorry for the late response you can also add color paper rolled up the same as the Bill's to give it a bit of a color scheme or just make it a 2 layer cake instead of 3. Hope it helps
